Home of the Froggy Mountain 100, 50 miler, and 50k and last man standing event. Run by professional athletes, Froggy Mountain boasts a 1 mile well groomed trail with 500 feet of vertical gain per mile. A perfect place to get in a little hike through the woods, or serious training! We boast an outdoor kitchen, mini laundry facility, and hot outdoor shower and bath. A beautiful, quiet retreat with a couple friendly sheep who will nibble treats out of your hands. Portable toilet available. Minutes from downtown Galax, primitive camping is currently available for this season. For additional cost we will provide shuttle service to the New River Trail

We have 3-4 primitive fire rings and space to accommodate groups from 4-8 people. Currently offering only tent camping. We have several tents available for an additional charge. You're free to pick your favorite place, and you will have access to an outdoor portable toilet, covered grill for cooking, dish washing location with hot water, and a hot outdoor bath/shower area. A small portable washer & dryer is available for tiny loads of laundry.

We had a wonderful time on our trip Roise was the perfect host. The property is just starting off and they are working hard to make it a nice and natural place to camp and enjoy nature will be back to see the progress of this campground and just to hang out

Absolutely amazing little piece of heaven!! They have created a creative and functional space with luc extras like a heated outdoor shower & bathtub, the most amazing outdoor kitchen & even a heated outdoor dishwashing station! Also, they have a mile long trail (with some serious incline) on the property with little nooks randomly throughout with frog themes, a rest spot with lounge chairs and lots of other fun finds. The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and gave us a tour of the property & a tutorial on using the camp kitchen. We can’t wait to come back!
