We did get moved to cabin 3 which was closer to the water, but we had trouble with locking our door. A couple of times, even though locked, it wouldn’t stay shut. Also, the restroom light was giving us issues in the evening. We would switch it on and it was very dim but by the time the morning came, it was working again. Lastly, the pool was under construction and we weren’t informed before getting there. I’d give it a second chance if these things were better.

Host never told us her camp wasn’t for tents even though she was paid when we arrived we got a small plot that was surrounded by rvs 30 mph winds that’s day and host would not give us a refund of any kind we could not even set up our tents because of the winds very unfair unattractive camp site

I loved Rv camping here at Pat’s Rv park it is a beautiful place in a beautiful slow town with awesome people and amazing views, if you’re looking for a place in the hill country, to camp, swim or even get married, Valentine Lakeside Rv Camp is the place to stay!!!!!!

Lovely location on the lake, great hosts! Wish they had more than one shower available for the RV site, but plenty of activities onsite and nearby, great for dogs, and best of all, worth the money!

Nice ppl. Friendly quiet place. Met a lady that has been there a year and loved it. We have a 38’ class A, the park was a little small for our RV.

Loved Valentine's. Very chill and relaxing space, great spot near to town but no noise from the nearby bars/restaurants.
We stayed in a cabin and really enjoyed it. AC worked great and had everything we needed for a great stay. Pool was nice and cold and the dock was great for watching the sun go down.
10/10 would recommend.
The RV/Tent spots are pretty nice too, well shaded, and the 'gravel' you set your tent up on won't pop an air mattress but I'd probably bring a thick blanket to put underneath just to be safe.

Pat was so hospitable! The property was a great quick get away and Pat made us feel right at home like we were family that had been visiting for years! Can’t wait to go back. They had everything we needed so we didn’t have to haul a bunch of stuff. Even had a life vest for our fur baby

This was our second time staying here. Great place/people close to the water.
Centralized location if you’re interested in wineries.
This trip we did the Bronco off-rodeo at the grey wolf ranch.

Valentine Lakeside RV camp is a very clean and cozy place. When you walk around and see all the amenities it seems more like a small village than a camp.
My family had a great time jumping in to the lake from the floating platform and enjoying the waves. When we didn't feel like playing in the waves the pool and the pool area were wonderful. After a day of playing in the water we gathered around the community fire ring, under a moon glowing sky and roasted s'mores while a nice breeze coming in from over the water kept the night cool.
The owners do a wonderful job and we will definitely be back.

Hosts were great. Check-in was easy! she was able to accommodate us and got a site next to our friends. Fire pit is great down by the water, and wood is readily available which is nice!

Great location, quiet, close to Inks Lake and Right on LBJ. Enjoyed the fire pit by the water at night.

It’s was awesome!! Loved the heart shaped pool. The lake you will need to water a life jacket no way you can swim without one the waves from boats and jet skis take you lol. It was really fun. No one bothered us we didn’t bother no one. The only thing is restroom didn’t have soap to wash hands so always bring your own. Other awesome host awesome place!!!
