The sanctuary includes approximately 14 acres of Sabine River bottom pine forest, with a spring-fed creek running along the property's southern edge. We are expanding the land’s regenerative systems, gardens, and educational offerings. The property contains multiple ecosystems, wildlife habitats, medicinal and culinary herbs, and areas intended for future mystery school gatherings, earth-based learning, and wellness retreats. Guests can currently enjoy: * Tent and RV camping * RV electrical hookup (electricity available for an extra fee) * Water hose access * Starlink satellite internet * Access to yurt and tiny house by inquiry/availability The sanctuary is only: * 5 minutes from downtown Lindale * 15 minutes from Tyler * Close to restaurants, groceries, and supplies while still offering a secluded country atmosphere The upper areas of the property are accessible by standard vehicles and include water and electricity access. Lower forest areas near the creek may require 4-wheel drive during wet conditions. This is an outdoor forest environment. Guests should expect insects, wildlife, mud, uneven terrain, and changing weather chouseonditions as part of the authentic nature experience. By staying on the property, guests acknowledge and accept responsibility for themselves, their children, pets, and party members while using the land and facilities. Well-behaved pets are welcome with an additional fee. Pets must remain under control at all times and must be crated if staying inside shared or sanctuary structures. NOTICE: We have two Pyrenean dogs and birds. Now with Starlink satellite internet. Various camping spots. Some folk have even just gone into the forest and set up shop. There is also the tiny house and the 27 ft Yurt available to reserve. With the right event, the Yurt can be set up as a classroom, or a common area for campers. The Yurt is ideal if you need a Yoga chala or classroom. The property is long acreage with multiple ecosystems, including a forest and pasture areas. I just found a spring, and will be installing a spring box. There are easy sites to set up at the top of the property. You will need a Four Wheel Drive to access the lower parts of the property by vehicle, including Spring Creek, but you can always walk to it. There are many spots to camp it depends on your car and who is here. Bring your own portable toilet, and or a camp shower for max comfort. Make sure the gate is closed when you leave. When we are packed you can get a more remote campsite with a 4x4 vehicle.

Tiny House (Recycled 5th Wheel)

The Tiny is occupied until August. This is a tiny house, recycled from an old RV (5th wheel), that I stripped down to the frame and then rebuilt with wood. The gas stove, sink, and windows are from the old RV and I will eventually upgrade. It is pretty awesome but it is a work in progress. It has functional hot showers that feed some permaculture swales growing functional plants. I have electricity, a compost toilet, and Roku TV in the bedroom. The tiny house is modular and can be adjusted to suit your needs. For instance, do you want bunk beds for the kids or a tiny office? The internet is starlink. House Rules Pet-friendly kid friendly but we will charge extra Please be considerate of neighbors and campers. Zero Waste (pack it in, pack it out) Mix ash or sawdust with your compost bucket everytime you go #2, and try to pee outside. If there is going to be a free, drain the pipes to make sure they don't bust. My contracting here for the Tiny house, you are on NOTICE that you assume all liability.

The space is beautiful and always improving. There is a dog park almost finished, and a beautiful creek at the end of the property along a sandy wooded area that is a bit of a trek through some wetland, but will soon be a nice dry walk. The animals roam freely and the land is bordered by two farmlands with wide pasture and forested hill...and no farmy smells! If youre looking to learn how a homestead can be built, this is the place to come. You can wander the forest, forage for wild edible plants, check out how the spring has been tapped, and soon bathe in spring fed pools! We love it and have been here for three months, planning to stay longer 😀

Every time I come through, the coyote campground is my hip camp of choice. The town is bustling only 6 miles away, the campsites are spacious, and there's even a dog park being fenced in for camping pups! The free roaming mini goats are the best 😀

Perfect location, not too close and not too far from town. Beautiful land, clear skies, and a magical white cow roaming the forest, so absolutely wonderful that we extended our stay! Thank you so much for allowing our mobile homestead to camp out for a while, and for having an affordable rate, we will definitely come back if we are ever traveling through again 😃❤️👍🙏🙌

Baba's land is in a very nice and quite secluded area. He was very pleasant and accommodating. I rented a spot for my vintage camper with electric hook up. I also rented his tiny cabin for one day......... I found the cabin to be very rustic, well stocked with necessities, wonderfully decorated and cozy. I brought along with me: my 16 year old grandson and 8 month old corgi, Honey! all the way from North Carolina to attend my granddaugher's highschool graduation. I most definently recommend for anyone looking for a private place to camp off of the beaten path and I will be visiting Baba's land again in October of 2024.

Very convenient & comfortable yurt

My family and I were very comfortable in the yurt. The bed is very comfortable, and it had WiFi, a TV with Roku, a ceiling fan, a compost toilet, and running water. We normally enjoy tent camping, but this was a super quick trip for us (just one night) to be in the path of totality for the solar eclipse, so we didn’t have time to put up and take down a tent. There were also no hotels available for a reasonable price. The yurt was the perfect alternative for us. It had everything we needed to be comfortable (which my kids call “glamping” but my wife appreciates). Baba said he still has some more things he wants to do to make the yurt even better, and when he’s finished I’m sure it’ll be even better. There was one other couple on the property who were RV camping, and there were a few tent sites but they weren’t occupied that night. All in all this was a good quiet spot and an enjoyable experience for my family.

Loved this property. Was a little tight for our large pull behind (but we expected that at 32') we got it parked and wow. Property is amazing and would be a great spot of tent or hammock camping. Large clearing way down in the woods would be great for group getaways. Hosts are awesome and very accommodating. Tiny house on the property is available and looks very well done and comfortable. Property is a work in progress and from hearing the long term plans it is definitely only going to get better. Great Job on this one guys.

Owner is a Great Guy. Land is in a good area. Many close Town's to visit within a 10-15m drive. They are pet friendly but neighbors have cow's.. the pool and creek where both good swimming
