We are a family of 4 plus dog with a studio apartment/casita available for short-term rental in our backyard. Casita El Dorado features a full bathroom, couch/murphy bed combo, mini fridge, and kitchenette. Please note that the proximity to the main house doesn't allow for a great deal of privacy unless you are indoors. Our property is 1.25 acres in a 1970s suburban neighborhood. We think it's the perfect mix of community and urban convenience with a tranquil and private setting. Guests will have access to our backyard and pool and one off-street parking spot. The backyard features several seating areas and a pool that are available to use during your stay. We have a grill, fire pit, and laundry facilities that can be used by making arrangements directly with us after booking. OTHER SITES Bootstrap Academy - our pandemic backyard schoolhouse - is now a flex space featuring a home office setup, some work out equipment, and a twin bed with a second twin mattress as a trundle. This space can also be booked by guests booking the casita for an extra fee. This building doesn't have its own bathroom. Please inquire if you’re interested.Casita El Dorado is a detached guesthouse about 50 yards from the main house we live in. We do provide an area to hang a few items on the back of the bathroom door.

Casita El Dorado

A great place for a couple of nights away! Spacious and beautiful backyard, which our dogs certainly enjoyed. Since weather was rainy and wet, we didn’t get to use the outdoor space, but it would’ve been the best spot to unwind and hang out. Plenty of outdoor furniture and a beautiful deck. Great space inside, too, with everything we needed for a couple of nights away. Would definitely stay again if our travels take us that way.

Leah's place was very nice. Her backyard was well kept. The private room in the back is nice and clean. She was a very accommodating host. We loved it so much we decided to stay a bit longer!

Perfect Place to Unwind

Casita El Dorado

Leah’s place is such a peaceful and welcoming spot! The land is spacious and beautifully maintained, with lots of room to spread out and enjoy nature. I was greeted by her sweet and friendly dog, which was such a fun surprise. The pool is perfect for cooling off on a warm day, and there’s a cozy hammock tucked under the trees that’s great for relaxing with a book. I also loved the fire pit area—it’s a great setup for sitting under the stars. Overall, it’s a quiet, charming spot with everything you need for a relaxing outdoor getaway.
