Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
2.5 acres of totally secluded land on the Sioux Reservation. Wildlife in the area includes cougars, elk, deer, raccoons, rabbits, prairie dogs, and moose. There are also excellent fishing spots within 4 miles of the campsite. This is a very quiet, rustic, back-to-nature location, perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The area offers easy hiking trails, moderate mountain biking trails, and good dirt bike trails. The Hollow Horn Bear Sundance Grounds is less than a mile away for those who want to learn about and explore Native culture. Sun dances occur about once a week during the summer season.Quiet and flat field parking, pick wherever you want to park on the land and make yourself at home!
