Learn more about this land: Quiet campground located a few miles from Interstate 90 between exits 44 and 46. 15 minutes from Sturgis, SD. A great location for summer travelers who are looking for a simple spot to crash for a night. We are a historic and favorite location for Christian Motorcyclist Association members to stay during Sturgis bike week. Quiet hours 10pm-6am. Address: 10716 Mountain Shadow Road, Piedmont SD, 57769; Cell service varies, Verizon works well.

      The camp was safe & quiet.. Jeremy was very hospitable.. It has a beautiful view... It just needs some general maintenance.

      Mtn Shadow Campground Tent Sites
      We followed the gps coordinates provided and ended up at a dumpy deserted campground. We attempted to contact the owner and have not received any reply from him. His mailbox is full and I cannot leave a voicemail. I won’t be using hipcamp in the future as this was a really sketchy situation. We had to drive an additional half hour and pay for another campsite. I would appreciate a refund.

      Jeremy has a great spot! Easy to find, convenient, and it has a bathroom and shower for a great price. The stars at night are a added bonus

      Jeremy was very gracious! Awesome host! Camping was nice and quiet, just what we were looking for. We stayed during Sturgis Bike Rally and everyone was very respectful! Beautiful views. Clean amenities! We would definitely stay again!

      The campground was awesome. I would return and recommend. Stayed during Sturgis bike week. Awesome group, not overcrowded and everything was provided. Electric, water, showers, coffee, good friends and the best host! I am a recoverd alcoholic and a disabled vet. This was a clean and sober place that made me feel at ease with no pressure. Thanks for a great time Jeremy!
