Wake up to birds singing, deer grazing, and the quiet calm of Tennessee mornings — the perfect setting to enjoy your coffee and unwind from daily life. On the property stands a beautiful 1800s cabin, a piece of local history that we are lovingly restoring little by little to preserve its original charm. Please note: the cabin is not available for rent and is not accessible to guests or visitors. It serves as part of the land’s history and adds a rustic, scenic touch to your stay. You’ll be just minutes from Douglas Lake, where you can fish, kayak, swim, or simply enjoy a peaceful afternoon by the water. The location feels private and relaxing, yet you’re only about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, 25 minutes from Gatlinburg, and surrounded by some of Tennessee’s most beautiful natural attractions. Nearby favorites include Douglas Dam Nature Loop, Trotter Bluff Trail, and Laurel Falls Trail — perfect for hiking, photography, and scenic drives. The site is ideal for RVs, camper vans, or small travel trailers, offering space, shade, and tranquility. Evenings here are magical — fireflies sparkle, stars fill the sky, and the soft creek sounds create the perfect backdrop for a relaxing night outdoors. What an absolutely beautiful and peaceful property! We stayed for 2 nights with full hookups and enjoyed the pool during the day in a great location for us just before heading down to the keys. Yes there are roosters and chickens that might wake you early but it’s part of the charm and we loved seeing them play in the yard. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in the area

One of the best Hipcamps we have visited. The hosts Karein and Roger are simply remarkable. We immediately felt at ease. Huge level land with services, access to the pool and we even had a small snack prepared by Roger. What about the chickens and roosters that keep us on alert early in the morning. Un des meilleurs Hipcamp qu’on a visiter. Les hôtes karein et Roger sont tout simplement remarquable. On c’est tout de suite senti à l’aise.Immense terrain de niveau avec des services, accès à la piscine et on a même eu droit à un petit goûter préparer par Roger. Que dire des poules et coq qui nous tiennent en alertes tôt le matin.

A beautiful, quiet (except for the roosters and the neighbors dogs) home close to Miami and the Keys. You should reach out to the owner an hour or so before you arrive so you can get in. You need to back in around the right side of their home and you are in their gorgeous yard. If we were coming this far south again, we would stay again. Thank you Kiren and Roger.

The property is beautiful. It is a little tricky getting backed in, through 2 gates. Definitely need to do some traffic control. Once you are set up, it feels like paradise. We did not meet the host, but we were not around much. Others in the park, were very friendly. There was a beautiful pool, but not sure it was the campers use. They do have chickens, so be prepared for some early mornings. It was great for us, because we needed a safe place to park.

One of the most affordable pitches we've had. We felt safe at all times, especially because of the high fence. There was also a water connection and electricity, but we weren't sure if we were allowed to use them. We were given a remote control for the gate, so we could leave relatively quickly in the morning. Would definitely come back!

Great location to the Keys!

Kiren and Roger were fantastic hosts! They have a beautiful backyard and graciously allowed access to the pool. The location is great! It’s very convenient to shopping, the Keys, the Everglades, and Biscayne. The immediate area is residential which we appreciated for walking our dogs. The only two things that caused me to rate this camp as “mixed” is that the spot is advertised as a concrete pad, but the pad is occupied by the hosts’s RV and boat. This isn’t a huge deal as the grass was level enough. The second is that it is tight maneuvering to back into the backyard (due to the layout of the house, layout of the driveway, and fences surrounding the yard). Luckily, Roger was so helpful in getting us backed into the yard. Unfortunately, getting out of the yard we clipped their gutter causing damage to our coach and their gutter. They couldn’t have been nicer about it though, and we were able to resolve the damage. If you’re looking for an affordable option close to the keys then this is a great place!

Karin and Roger are very helpful and great hosts. We stayed 1 night on the way from the Keys to the Everglades. Beautiful place, even with a pool, which we were allowed to use. We can only recommend this spot! Many 1000 thanks!
