Enjoy the private back acre of our 2-acre parcel. RV parking is separated from the main house by a barn and Morton building. Set up camp overlooking what used to be a grassy yard, but is now a walkable wildflower meadow. Enjoy the meadow paths and entire property's yard. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times - our dog is friendly, but will also be leashed when outside.
The house and barn were built in the late 1800s and are currently being restored. There will be no construction activity during your stay, but there may be assorted projects in process visible near buildings. Please do not enter buildings unless accompanied by a property owner.
Many restaurants, breweries, distilleries and parks are just minutes away in Bellefonte! When visiting them, we recommend going straight out of our driveway onto Clemens instead of turning right onto Valentine Hill. Valentine has tight turns that are a challenge to navigate in an RV or with a trailer.

Easy pull in and out or ample space for 2 or 3 campers, tents, vehicle camping (possibly more if a group) with plenty of room for offloading your UTV/ATV Bikes or Snowmobiles.
We can fill your water tank when you get here if needed. We will have enough firewood for you to start you off with. And more reasonable priced. We ask that you DO NOT bring your own firewood and please do not take ours. No need for hitching bugs or anything else that could spread. We can bring more as needed since we live across the road.
We have direct access to the SSRTA from the private trail. Less than half a mile to the Clarence Moose Lodge and Newmans Sandwich shop where you pick the main trail up. (must be a member SSRTA with proof of insurance and registration)
Right in the heart of central PA, off interstate 80, along the Elk scenic byway. Not far from Quehanna Wilds area and Benezette. Theres wildlife all around us and many right here. Possibly at your camp site.
Only 33 min to State College Pa the home of Penn State University main campus and the Bryce Jordan Center.
Not far from many great state parks like Black Moshannon, Bald Eagle, Kettle Creek, Sinnemahoning, Stevenson dam to list some of my personal favorites.

We had a great weekend staying at Amanda’s land for the weekend for a Penn State game. Just 15 mins from Beaver Stadium it’s a quick ride. We parked our car and set up camp. Amanda was very hospitable and I would recommend this spot. Also great views of the meadows, we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunset as we cooked up some burgers and dogs.

Our second time here, we love it! Secluded and spacious, just right for a spontaneous getaway near a babbling creek.
Matt is super responsive and we enjoyed a nice 3.5 mile hike in nearby Bald Eagle State Park.

Beautiful area amidst Amish… fun to explore the creeks, caves, and quarry. Loved the privacy and dog friendly freedom! Enjoyed Amish cheeses and ice cream one direction, and jams the other. Ran into Dennis and his pups one day… super cool and laid back guy (but one was reactive to our poodle… loves people though!) . Appreciated the onsite firewood sale and Porto potty access! It was a perfect place to relax while our teenager was at Woodwork BMX camp.

I had a three night stay, over a beautiful weekend. I was very very happy with it. It was a picturesque, secluded creekside site, in the perfect location I was looking for. If you're into bicycles, the area Dennis lives is one of the best in the state for it, with quiet farm roads galore. All the sites that I saw on the property are fantastic. I kind of regretted not renting the site by the cave, it's an absolute gem, but the site I had was still terrific. I'm so happy I found this property because, I love quiet when I'm camping, and don't do so well with loud people or children around. I feared if I stayed at the State Park or a private campground, this might be an issue. Not an issue at all on Dennis's land, quiet as promised, I could not be more satisfied.

We had a wonderful stay at Meadow View Near PSU! The site was peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained. It was easy to park on and a convenient spot near PSU with hookups.
Amanda and her family were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Matt has the best camp sites and is an awesome host! The owl cove is really cool, has a great set up and open area with a fire pit and easy walk to the creek. I will definitely stay here again!
