Welcome to our hidden oasis.
Our 14 acre property is a quiet oasis on several biking trails (G2G, Cottonwood Road, Trans Canada Trail) and a very short drive to famous Elora (7 min) and St. Jacobs (20 min), access to several Grand River launch sites, many nearby hiking trails, and countless Mennonite farmers markets with fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, and preserves.
There is really something for everyone around here.
We have a beautiful green acreage with a picturesque pond, next to Cox Creek and privacy with open and treed space and the promise of gorgeous sunsets almost every night.
We have fire pits, picnic tables, muskoka chairs and plenty of firewood.
There is plenty of space for tents, and/or RVs.
Check out the individual listings for more details about each site.
We strive to give you a tranquil experience in a beautiful space where you can enjoy relaxing days close to nature, have space to play games, have a paddle around the pond, or seek out the many surrounding activities.
A couple notes about the property:
You may encounter property owners (that's us!) and our kids enjoying a walk with their friendly dogs unleashed, picking berries, playing a game or doing yard work near your site and around the property. We hope you don't mind. We aim to give you a lot of privacy, so we aren't going to be around all the time, don't worry. But this is a shared space, that we want to enjoy alongside you and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We'll definitely say hi if we see you but we won't overstay our welcome!

Creekside RV And Tent (Site #1)
100% (33)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 13 m
Experience the unique Elora countryside, with its many local amenities.
This site is right next to the water, in a flat grassy area with some tree cover and plenty of space to pitch a tent, dining tent and/or RV. There is a treed fence row on one side and a pond and creek on the other. A large fire pit, picnic table and toilet is nearby.
There is no electrical hookup or potable water. There is an RV dumping station at the Elora Gorge Conservation Area about 5km away.
Guests will have plenty of space to themselves, with the other Creekside site a good 50 meters away, with a screen of mixed fir trees to provide ample privacy.
The acres around the pond is a hidden oasis. We’ve had overwhelmingly positive reviews about the sites.
Additionally, we’ve reduced the capacity of each site to help ensure our sites provide the tranquil experience you are seeking. If you want to book for more people we recommend booking both Creekside sites, as tranquility is our first goal for our guests.
The 3rd site, away from the pond, is pretty far away and almost completely out of view, but its guests may use the pond on occasion.
You may encounter property owners enjoying a walk with their dogs out back, picking berries, playing a game or doing yard work nearby and around the property. This is a shared space and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Please read the reviews to get a sense of the overwhelming enjoyment our guests have experienced.

The campsite offers a peaceful and spacious retreat, ideal for campers seeking tranquility and privacy. The site is well-maintained with a clean toilet facility, and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. Many visitors appreciate the scenic pond and the vast open area, making it perfect for both relaxation and outdoor activities. Despite its proximity to the host's home, the campsite maintains a sense of seclusion, with beautiful sunsets and a serene atmosphere noted by several campers.
From the first visit here, we loved the quiet serene setting. This last trip was our 4th time I believe, and we have booked again for the July 4th weekend and are looking forward to more after that. It has become our go-to getaway.
We had a quick one-night escape to Laura’s place and it really was an oasis. Lots of privacy, huge site, great fire pit and comfy chairs/picnic table. Composting toilet in a real building (not a porta-potty) was a bonus. Would highly recommend!
We loved this spot! The sites were a great distance away, the toilet was nice and clean. The owners were very laidback and helpful. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful spot out of the way from the hustle and bustle, but very close to a lot of great places to visit and things to see/do. Sites were spacious and well separated, so it felt very private despite both other sites being occupied.
Will return again.
Great place to unwind. Relaxing quite place. Unlucky with weather but makes snuggling in the tent in that atmosphere so much better.
Hoping to be back soon .
Thank you Laura
This was a very peaceful, beautiful location. I enjoyed the lovely bird song and the smell of wild thyme! The outhouse was spotless and nearby. Laura was a friendly and helpful host.
Great spot for a relaxed escape from the city. Large well kept grass area and cute little pond that the dog loved. Despite being close to the house it felt quite private. And the sunset is gorgeous!
This place was amazing! Beautiful pond and plenty of space. The porta potty was really clean although it needed to be empty, end of the season I am guessing lol! It was really quiet and peaceful. The 2 sites are very far apart feeling very private. I am 100% recommending this to anyone that are looking for an amazing, relaxing location for either tent or RV camping.
Loved camping on Laura's land this weekend. The place is easy to get to and access. The campsite itself is beautiful kept and maintained, with plenty of space for games, lounging and relaxing. The pond is adorable, I wouldn't swim in itd thiugh ... but it's a lovely backdrop for a weekend camping trip. The trees provide enough cover and shade and climbing opportunities. Firewood was ready for us.
You won't regret this spot
Loved this campsite! Exactly as advertised, and super close to Elora. Stunning views, very friendly and responsive hosts. Loved the visit from the host’s dogs :) Highly recommend this place!
is place is unreal. I almost don't want to say anything for it may get harder for me to get lol. A very nice big pond large fire pit I find words fail at its spender.
This hidden oasis is just that. Accessible by car to the site (Site #1), a simple curve around a wooded area then opens into a large, groomed area of grass, situated between a (fenced off) corn field (I never knew corn could grow so tall!), and the picturesque pond, bordered by several large, venerable trees, with wooded area beyond. At this time of year, mosquitos were minimal, and we had two sunny days of peace and quiet, nearly completely private, with other visitors at Site #2 at a visible distance. The portable toilet was convenient to both areas. The yellow-orange waxing moon was so bright one night that I didn't require a flashlight to trek there and back, from where we had pitched our (large) tent near one of the largest weeping willows I have seen in some time. The sun streaming through the morning mist against trees that were just beginning to think about turning colours was a delight. And cows lowing in the distance blended with the very distant sound of minimal local traffic. It was a lovely stay.
Spent the night here solo with my old dog, had a lovely evening with a beautiful sunset, like it so much I booked another night later that week with my wife :)
What can I say that has not already been said in our first review. It has been many years since I had a trailer or took a vacation, and the same held true for my brother and our ladies. Well, we were fortunate enough to have booked 5 days vacation here. The first night was spent at the Picturesque RV and Tent Site #2, and the rest of the week at the Creekside RV And Tent Site #1. So, we had the opportunity to enjoy the stay from both of these amazing sites. First though I must give a resounding thank you from all of us to the amazing hosts. Laura was absolutely fantastic with helping me book the two sites back to back. I had made a mistake booking site 2 for the week, when I was trying to book site 1. She helped me straighten everything out, making the change in booking as close to seamless as possible. The week was wonderful and the only downside was that it went by way too fast. If I was not told that this was their first year in operation with Hipcamp, I would never have guessed it. The sites are spacious, clean and both have large fire pits. I portable toilet sits between both sites which was also very clean. The owners could be seen throughout the week busy with upkeep and improving the sites, but not a distraction from the lovely sunsets, the solitude and peace of mind you find when you are away and know that everything is just perfect. Highly recommend these hosts and both sites were great. Thank you from all of us. Wayne, Keli, John and Anne.

We spent one night tent camping at Laura's. The site was peaceful and spacious. It felt private and we were surrounded by nature with a great open view of the sky at sunset. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
Beautiful! Quiet Secluded. Huge area. Awesome fire pit. Grandsons loved peddle boating to the “their” dock. Hosts extremely kind, available to help if needed but we didn’t need anything everything was great. Amazing sunset to top it all off.
We really enjoyed our stay at Laura's. The pond was magical and the lemon thyme lawn smelled heavenly while keeping the mosquitos at bay. Thanks so much!
It was a lovely spot to camp. The family was really nice. I'd recommend bringing some citronella candles against the mosquitos in the early evening. But otherwise we spent a good night there. Thanks again!
This place is an absolute hidden gem! It offers a vast, private space perfect for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment. We had an amazing time unwinding, soaking in the serene surroundings, and fishing in the picturesque pond. A big thank you to the host for sharing this beautiful oasis with us! We’ll definitely be back!
I loved tent camping on Laura’s land!
The views were beautiful and directions were clear. There was another site nearby but it wasn't too loud. There was a swing and a nice setup for campfire!
