We had a great stay at Unknown Ridge. The property is beautiful, quiet, and private, which was exactly what we were looking for.
Mark was a great host, very friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We had plenty of space for our setup and really enjoyed spending the weekend cooking outside, relaxing, and just enjoying the mountains.
We even got some rain during the stay, but honestly it made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to disconnect and camp surrounded by nature, this is a great spot.
We’d definitely stay here again.
Unknown Ridge Campsite is an absolute gem! We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better camping experience. The site is peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it a perfect place to relax and get away from the everyday hustle.
The campsite was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated the quiet setting and the feeling of having our own little piece of nature. It was a great spot for enjoying the outdoors without giving up comfort.
Mark was excellent—friendly, helpful, fast to respond, and easy to communicate with. Everything about our stay was smooth from beginning to end.
We would definitely stay at Unknown Ridge Campsite again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, and enjoyable camping experience. Five stars all the way!

Very quiet and well maintained spot, would recommend staying.
This was our second time staying at Unknown Ridge. It was so good to meet Mark this time, he and Jacob are just fantastic and so responsive. We really can't recommend the site enough - if we hadn't moved permanently to this area this week I'm sure we'd be staying there all the time!

Unknown ridge campsite
Wow! Just amazing. Been in the RV world since 2019 and have visited quite a few campgrounds most from HipCamp. For the first time we can say , we found the perfect one. From passing through the beautiful historic town of Canton, to driving up to the site all was worth it. (If you have a larger size camper, avoid William street. Your GPS will reroute you).
Having a travel trailer reverse parking has been an issue till we arrived to unknown ridge as it was not bad at all.
Once there the peace, the tranquility, the safety and most of all the most well kept site ever. Description and fotos fell short of what you discover once there.
Unfortunately, we were forced to cut short our stay due to nearby 4th of July fireworks a major thing our dog is frightened of and knew the following day being the 4th could be worst we made the sad decision of contacting Mark with the news. He was super understanding and encouraged us to come back, something that for sure will happen very soon.
We encourage anyone looking to connect with nature while disconnecting from the outside environment, this is your place.
Thank you Mark for creating this single spot and being a great host. Look forward meeting you in person on our next visit.

Absolutely beautiful place! This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. The scenery is breathtaking, and the views are simply unforgettable. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
Unfortunately, we stayed for just one night, but we definitely plan to come back. The place is peaceful, well maintained, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature.
We highly recommend it 100% to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for such a wonderful experience—we can’t wait to return! 🏔️✨❤️
