Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
A rocky creek winds through the woods at the base of several hikable peaks hidden just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Wildlife enthusiasts are encouraged to explore, on foot or mountain-bike, anywhere within our 170 acres (or the adjoining 250 acres owned by the US Forestry Service off our Western border) and are likely to catch glimpses of turkey, beaver, deer, fox, eastern box turtle and the many species of songbird and raptor. The location is convenient to tons of local attractions for sightseeing and outdoor activities as well as shopping, dining, even wine tasting. We would be happy to supply a comprehensive list of the various local attractions upon request but the following are a few of our favorite things to do within a short drive: visit Linville Falls, Caverns, Gorge and/or Winery; drive the Blue Ridge parkway; tube/kayak down the Catawba river; hike beautiful Crabtree Falls; cross Grandfather Mountains mile high bridge and explore the nearby towns of Spruce Pines or Little Switzerland. The scenic drives to Asheville, Blowing Rock or Banner Elk make them each wonderful day-trip destinations.

A Shady Creek View
We had a great time camping on Blair’s property. The views were beautiful. We were right by a creek, and it was soothing to hear through the day and night. Blair was easy to contact and very helpful. The property was secure, clean, exactly as described.

Beyond expectations
Blair is an exceptionally amazing host. Not only did he help us get to our camp site when the road was too tough for our vehicle, but he kindly offered us to load our things on his vehicle and showing us great spots to hike and look around while in our visit to ND. The campsite was serene, well marked where to set up camp and beautiful. Blair mentioned he has been able to find Native American within the property and got me excited to have my eyes more opened to my surroundings. Overall, one very memorable time.

Creek Music
Private campsites!
This place was absolutely amazing! If you enjoy being out in nature and campsites that are large and private this is the place for you! We really appreciated our site at creek music, it had ample room was well maintained and the neighbors are all spread out enough that it was easy to forget there were other people at the camp. Definitely a great place to relax and unwind out in nature.

Creekside Meadow
Creekside Meadow experience
Our stay at Creekside Meadow on Blair's land was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we booked last minute, the response from our host was prompt and welcoming. The campsite itself was incredibly spacious, with ample room for our group and then some. Nestled right next to the creek, our proximity to the water added an extra layer of enjoyment, especially for the kids who couldn't resist dipping in whenever they pleased. Despite being secluded, we appreciated the presence of other campers, as everyone was respectfully spaced out, ensuring a peaceful experience for all. A highlight for us was traversing the creek with our vehicles to access the off-road path—a thrilling adventure indeed. The responsiveness of our host was unparalleled. When we ran low on firewood, a simple message resulted in a speedy delivery, allowing us to keep our campfire burning bright. Moreover, the presence of a clean porta potty near our site was a welcome convenience. Overall, our time at Creekside Meadow exceeded expectations, leaving us with cherished memories and even converting our Florida guests into camping enthusiasts. We highly recommend Blair's land for an unforgettable outdoor experience.

Hilltop Safari Tent
Beautiful property. We stayed in the Hilltop Safari Tent. It isn’t on the water but it’s the best site for privacy. Just a short walk to the creek. If you want a private place, this is it. The owner, Blair, is most accommodating. We will go back. 💕
