Imagine a place where you can recharge and immerse yourself in nature. Halcyon Farms is a small hobby farm with 3 walk-in campsites and miles of trails, creeks, ponds, quiet, and clear skies. We invite you to enjoy camping at our working sheep and timber farm. Located just north of Durham off exit 191/exit 202 on I-85, Halcyon Farms is a quiet and secluded 100+ acre tract of Southern Yellow pines, hardwoods with American Blackbelly sheep and a mule named Athena. Our campsites are on level high ground in the woods, each with its own view. Enjoy a peaceful evening and beautiful starry nights. We cater to familes and small groups, NO PARTIES!

Campsite 1 is an elevated and level site only a two-minute walk from the main house. Right behind the pond, the site is ~60 sq ft mulched space. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be self contained, remove their own waste and leave no trace.

Campsite 2 is an elevated level site off of a freshly mulched logging trail. Approximately a ten minute walk from the main house. This site is 100 sq ft with room for 3-4 tents. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be self contained, remove their own waste and leave no trace.

Campsite 3 is a smaller elevated level site that branches from a freshly mulched logging trail. Located approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the main house, the site is ~100 sq ft with room for 1-2 tents. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be self contained, remove their own waste and leave no trace.
