Great stay!
This was a great camp! The site we stayed on was very well maintained and we had a lovely view of the trees. There is a little communal area that had badminton and balls to play with which kept us entertained!
Overall was a great experience and would definitely recommend

A relaxing, spacious campsite, dog
We really enjoyed our stay at Woodenhead. The camp sites were big - lots of room to spread out - and well spaced apart. It was lovely amongst the trees. We found the layout very dog friendly. A great base from which to visit the Jervis Bay and Sussex Inlet area without having to be in the thick of it, particularly during the busy January period. This part of the south coast is gorgeous. Scott was a very friendly and helpful host. The creek was a bit of a trek down a steep hill, but a fun adventure. You could hear the traffic from the road a little, but not above the bush noises. We left feeling relaxed.

Relaxing Break
Woodenhead Experiences is a great place to come and relax. We came up for a couple of days to unwind and visit the beaches in Jervis.
Beaches and towns close enough to be convenient and no complaints about the campsite - spacious, clean and tidy, and far enough from the road to keep the noise down.
Zero hassle and would absolutely come again.

This was a tranquil spot for a quick getaway. The camp sites were far enough apart that we couldn't really hear noise from other campers. There is a short walk down to a crystal clear creek that we enjoyed. Sussex Inlet and Jervis Bay are short drives if you want to go exploring.

I think it’s over priced for what is actually there eg
The river was a fair hike
You could still here motorists on the road from the actual campsite
But I would attend again if the price was a lower

Such a great spot
Highly recommend, wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of privacy, water and toilet available. 15-20mins to lots of beautiful beaches and lake.

Spacious bush campsites
Loved this stay! Great to find somewhere dog-friendly and enough space for kids to have their own tents. The camping sites are level and well spread out from each other. (Plus portaloo nearby.) Wood provided for campfires was definitely a bonus. Lovely to meet the new foals as well. My son was delighted to catch a little bass in the creek. Thank you guys!

Great Camp Spot
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Woodenhead. Perfect central location to access all the prime water ways and the distance from crowds excellent. Room to get a private camp and a nice, small amount of exploring can be done. They were wonderful hosts with just the right amount of contact and interaction. Would and already have recommended to friends.

Camping for animal lovers!
Spacious campground, fire pits at each camp spot, bbq and a social area available. Walking tracks off of the campground, one down to a creek and the second, a cave walk. The cave walk is fairly slippery and overgrown but it's an adventure, and make sure you bring the mozzie spray! There are lots of animals on the property, many horses and a couple of cute foals, chickens, turkeys, and some Bassets. Sarina gave us a warm welcome, showed us around and even gave us a few fresh eggs from their chickens! :)

Camping with our babies
We really enjoyed the spacious, beautiful surrounds of the camp grounds. Was super easy to find and very peaceful. Scott was great and made everything easy. The way the grounds are maintained made for good drainage after some wet days as well.

Lots of space here so you want be disturbed by snoring neighbours or the like.
Fire pits most welcome on the chilly evenings (in January 🥶).
Scott was super friendly and kept us well informed with all happenings at the property.
As advertised amenities are limited to a single toilet. Bring your own drinking water etc.
We'd def stay again if heading down to the area.

We were a group of five camper trailers. Heaps of space. Plenty of wood around for fires. Byo chainsaw axe or saw. Po a loo available but did fill quickly with the number of people there. Considering how many different groups there were we had total privacy and no noise issues. Close to Jervis Bay,Sussex Inlet Huskisson Vincentia. Great for kayaking swimming etc.
Thanks for opening up your place to accommodate us we had a fab time there.

Spot was spacious and beautiful- loved the creek and the hike down to it.
Even though we were unlucky with the weather- non stop rain- we enjoyed the spot and proximity to town and beaches.
Loved being able to have a fire going through the colder evenings.

Wonderful stay
This is a fantastic Hipcamp. There were several other groups also camping here but we still felt away from all and everything. Camps dispersed enough that there was no noise. Toilet and bbq supplied although we didn’t use. We booked a farm experience for our daughter and she loved it. Being able to meet the chickens, turkeys, dogs and most importantly horses and new foals. She was excited to help with feeding the horses and have the time to brush and pat one of them. Highly recommended, Would stay again.

Dog friendly campsite 🦮
Beautiful dog friendly property suitable for large or small camping groups. Host was very accommodating and provided firewood everyday. Well located to visit all the beaches and sites in the Jervis Bay Area. There was a mess left by previous campers that the owners weren’t aware of but when messaged Scott it was cleaned up immediately.

Scott is very helpful person and it was an awesome experience on his camping spot. Every thing is very great and my personal fav is river swimming. The only concern is entrance point, google was not able to locate exact entrance location. Other than that, I really loved the place.

This place is a great camping spot! It has a walking track to caves, a refreshing creek to swim in, and it’s a close drive to dog friendly beaches. It’s great that the camp spots are spaced out so you have a sense of serenity.

Little spot in paradise!
What a perfect spot for our family's first real camping experience. Thank you so much Scott and Sarina for sharing your beautiful top paddock with us.
The kids were able to run around, explore and see so many animals. Sarina kindly let them see Dolly the 4 week old foal and feed the other horses, chickens, turkeys and pat the beautiful dogs, which they loved and can't stop talking about.
We visited beautiful beaches everyday and returned 'home' to our tent where everything was perfect. The fire pit was a hit at night- remember some marshmallows!
We even cared for some baby birds who had fallen from the nest, saw fairy blue wrens, kangaroos, a goanna, and tried to spot the platypus in the beautiful creek. This place is amazing. We will be back for sure!! 🐎 Thank you!
