A beautiful and serene 40 acres just 5 kms from the wonderful Bundanoon village, the gateway to the Morton National Park, in the wonderful Southern Highlands NSW. We have a chain of dams to throw a line or catch some yabbies, even float around in the kayaks, or just sit beside and soak up the rays. We have horses, chooks, ducks and peafowl. On the property you may see wombats, kangaroos, the odd fox, and many birds. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy there are numerous camp sites, one by the oak grove, a couple by the dam and with lovely rural vista. Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location. The morning birdsong and evening frog song is a restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing, and the stars beautiful. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Close to charming village of Bundanoon, Berrima, local wineries and good food outlets. Coming into winter camp fires are a must, generally best to BYO wood. Campers must be self-contained. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. All rubbish and waste (human, animal & general) must be taken off property. We have had any and all types of campers, from swags to RVs and everything in between, all can be accommodated. Extremely well behaved dogs are welcome. Our birds are free range so dogs need to be feathered friend friendly. Horses also welcome, separate paddocks available. Please contact for separate costs. Across the creek, is a site by one of our beautiful dams on Hidden Brook. It requires a small watercourse crossing (currently wet so 4WD only). At the dam you can fish, kayak (2 provided), watch the birds, listen to the frogs, sit and soak up the sun. The morning birdsong and evening quiet are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. It's a beautiful spot, there is not much more to say.... Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Autumn campfires are subject to weather conditions and welcome in the designated firepits. BYO firewood. Campers must be fully self-contained. Off grid campers, from swags to RV and everything in between are all welcome. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. This site is in a beautiful part of the property next to an Oak grove of more than 300 trees. Wildlife and birds abound. Private with easy access. Lovely view of one of our dams, listen to the winds in the trees and the frog song in the evening. Go for a stroll, or picnic in the paddock. Kids stay free and are not included in the site capacity. An easy and 10kms from the Hume Hwy. Sites are easy access with a clear track. All sites are dispersed so you can choose where you stay. Lisa’s property was beautiful, our camp spot was very tranquil with the gorgeous dam and surrounds. The spot was very large which meant that you weren’t on top of anyone- in fact we hardly saw anyone else, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lovely & friendly horses on the property, which we were able to introduce to our new puppy, they were a delight. Kayaks available for use as well. Great location, very close to Bundanoon town but also felt like you were far away from civilization. Lisa was also so kind and helpful. Highly recommend and we hope to return!

We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had some very clear nights so the stars were amazing. Would defiantly recommend it and look forward to staying there again.

We loved our stay by the Oak grove site, super private and protected, perfect for our little kids and doggo. We loved exploring through the trees, spotted kangaroos and rabbits, lots of wombats have been around, went exploring on Lisa's property to say hi to the horses and see the huge dam. A beautiful place to camp and very easy to find with Lisa's clear instructions. She was great and communicated well to help make our stay comfortable. Out of the hip camps we've stayed, it's now added as one of our favourites. Very reasonably priced and kids stay free even better. A hassle free experience. We'll definitely be back! 🏕️💕

Beautiful camping spot super private, if you’re looking for a nice getaway not to far from Sydney and close to Bowral this is perfect. The camp sites are all spread far away from each other so you feel alone and private! There’s also great phone reception aswell. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for a place to stay near Bowral

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s property. We even added an extra night stay last minute. Lisa is a great host & I would highly recommend her place. Not far from the township Bundanoon which is lovely. Thank you Lisa ☺️

We had a great weekend at Lisa's property. Its a very peaceful place with lots of birdlife. Kids had fun with the kayaks in the dam. Nice and close to the town of Bundanoon. Directions were easy to follow, would definitely recommend.

Great spot! Highly recommend. Enough room for two families, 4 kids, 3 dogs to run free. Very friendly horses and close to surrounding towns. Dam view was a spot we will return to again!

This Hipcamp is breathtaking! I stayed at ‘across the creek’ which was a large paddock which the horses roam through. The horses are a highlight and very friendly all with a different personality. There is a dam with 2 kayaks available to use! The location is great for exploring the Southern Highlands region! Host is very helpful and responsive! I will definitely be back many times!

We had a great extended Australia Day weekend at Hidden Brook, easy access, Plenty of room to manoeuvre a van or camper in. Few friendly horses and close enough to Bundanoon, which is a beautiful place with a great pub! Lisa went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. We will be back.

A great spot, everything you want. Easy access from the Hume, but felt away from it all. Campfire, space for the dogs to play, quiet but easy access to the village with pub and cafes. What every road trip needs!

We had a great stay at Hidden Brook in the oak grove site. It was very secluded, only seeing a couple of cars pass by on the main road over the stay. It was so peaceful at night sitting around the fire in absolute silence. Lisa responded to messages immediately. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Just had a great 2 nights at Hidden brook. We originally planned to stay by the Oaks. The day we got there it was 35 degrees and with us bringing dogs with us we thought down by the dam would be perfect. Lisa came and seen us and this was no problem. The dogs and us did have a swim in the dam.

This was our second visit to Lisa’s property, it’s the perfect escape from the busyness of life, but still pretty close to home. If you’re after stillness and peace and quiet (apart from birdsong 🐦 and the occasional moo 🐮 or neigh 🐴) then we highly recommend chilling here.

Lovely place, very windy stay. Very cold while we were there, made it for a chilly night but hosts were very accomodating and communication was exceptional. Would stay again should the oppurtunity arise.

I loved camping at Hidden Brook. It was relaxing, quiet and calming. It was my first time camping solo and I'm so glad I chose Hidden Brook. I would have liked to explore more but my mission was to do nothing! The bird life was amazing!” My host Lisa was brilliant. Very responsive to any questions prior to and during my stay. I extended my stay 1 night, I wished I didn't have to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay. We camped at the Dam View site and had a lovely view over the dam. The horse was friendly and the ducks and magpies wandered around us, we also saw a kangaroo and some rabbits. A peaceful and serene place to chill out for a couple of days.
