At Hazy Stays we offer a converted shipping container tiny home and a grassy paddock. We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations. The container has been converted into a tiny liveable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (linen provided), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. You may like to meet our pet goats or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting. We also offer plenty of space to camp and unwind in a grassy paddock overlooking the dam and hills of Cudgera Creek. We offer a rural setting which is only 5 minutes from Pottsville beach and shops. There are plenty of things to do and see nearby. We are close to town and close to the motorway. We can recommend local eats and activities or if you want to venture further there are wonderful communities to explore if you’re up for a day trip. The Northern Rivers area has plenty to offer for your entertainment. You’re welcome to meet and feed our pet goats while you’re staying with us or we can recommend some wonderful farms to visit within a 20 minute drive away if that’s what you’re into. We look forward to having you stay with us. There will also be a special welcome gift for our guests.

Tranquil Stay

Perfect couple of nights for my wife and I. Whilst we were predominantly exploring the beautiful beaches and creeks that are in abundance there. We found ourselves drinking in the tranquil surroundings of Hazy Stays. Listening to the pit a pata of rain accompanied by frogs croaking whilst falling asleep. Enjoying a meal on the deck overlooking fields with mountains beckoning in the distance. We loved our stay & wish it was longer. Thank you Michaley & Josh for sharing your place.

Perfect little spot to park up for the weekend or longer. Nice and private with great views over rolling hills and a short trip to Pottsville or surrounding beaches. Hosts are super helpful if need be.

Wholesome getaway

My wife I really enjoyed our stay, it was an easy affordable getaway that was a wholesome weekend. We loved feeding the goats! The host kept to themselves and we felt like we were the only ones there, very private and peaceful.

Great for R&R

Thank you Michaley and Josh for such a serene stay! This place is equipped with everything you need for a little aussie vacay. We found it so cosy. Loved the sound of the birds in the morning. Location is super convenient and the layout of the tiny home compliments the land. Will be coming back!

Better than a fancy hotel! :)

We just stayed at Hazy Stays and were absolutely blown away. It’s cozy, quirky, original, and so so comfy for a private cabin stay. We loved the outdoor shower, the outside views, the lights, the setup, the fire! Most of all we loved meeting the hosts. They were so helpful and friendly, and we could not recommend this place enough! We got so many photos that we can’t wait to share, and we can’t wait to come back again some time!

Peaceful getaway

Hazy Stays is the place to stop and relax. Very peaceful, with everything you need. Michaley is a great host and replies to messages quickly. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely welcome goodies of chocolate and cheese and crackers. Will definitely be back.

We loved it- Michaley and Josh have thought of all the comforts needed in a lovely warm, rustic and clean setting. The area is peaceful but very convenient and the hosts have the utmost respect for your privacy. We easily fit 3 in the tiny house and particularly enjoyed the outside fire with supplied wood and our twice daily visits to the hilarious goats. The tiny house is warm and cosy. Thanks so much for having us.

Tiny home with big views

The tiny house is beautifully thought out with all of the necessities available, down to firelighters and an extra blanket under the bed for chilly nights. The home is positioned facing the hills, and feels private from the main house because of its positioning. The home is very clean and tidy with great views, helpful hosts and only a quick trip into town.

If you are looking for a cosy cabin stay thats got it all then Hazy Stays is it. Perched on a hill in the hinterland of Pottsville this tiny home has been well thought out with all the creature comforts in mind. Our host Michaley had a welcome basket awaiting us with chocolate, a selection of teas and fresh picked passionfruit straight from the garden. The tiny home was beautifully styled, warm and comfortable. The bed was great, shower was perfect and having an ensuite inside the cabin was a real bonus. The kitchen is on the deck and there's a BBQ for cooking. There is so much to do in the area as Pottsville and Byron Bay are only a short drive from here. If your stay is more about unwinding then light the fire, pour a glass of wine and watch the sun go down over the rolling green hills. Perfect stay, wonderful host, I highly recommend.

Great location, close to beach and shops, but still in a secluded/ private location, very nice view. The tiny home is very clean and comfortable. The owner/host gives you complete privacy, but still there if you need anything. I had a great relaxing stay and would definitely stay there again.
