We live on a small paradise covering 2 acres. We have plenty of space for 33' foot campers, tents, vans, etc. Our backyard has been designed to accommodate families and the single nomads. We are a small hobby farm with a dog, chickens, a small fruit orchard, vineyard, and garden!! On the north end of the property we created a playground with a jungle gym, swings, trampoline, playhouses, outside polyjohn/toilet, and a 16' pool. This property is pet friendly but be warned we do have a large dog (very friendly)! We have power to support smaller 20amp campers with water and a dump station. An outdoo shower will be available in July 2024.Welcome to the Johnson's hobby farm. We have a large 2 acre property that is designed as a small paradise! We have a 15 chicken coop, a small vineyard, orchard, and garden. We are pet friendly and kid friendly! We have a large jungle gym, pool, playhouses, and a trampoline! Cute property
Once a year my best friend, my 8 year old, and I meet up in Springfield for the weekend. This year we decided on a new place and it was absolutely perfect! My daughter has said for years that she wants to be a farmer and raise chickens so she enjoyed looking at the fruit trees and watching the chicken peck around the yard. There was a lot for her to do and the grounds were well lit and inviting. We are already talking about visiting again next year.

We arrived late and it was easy to find a spot as Luke has the whole left fence equipped with electrical hookup and lighted so we could see them. Very well set up. Thanks Luke!!

Nice place!
The host thought of everything. Several comfortable seating areas to enjoy a book or relax in the shade. Access was convenient with spacious parking. The privacy fence, chickens, and garden give the impression you are on a secluded farm rather than in the city. I will certainly stay here again.

Overall we had a great experience. We didn’t expect it to be so noisy. A race track was nearby and it was loud but calmed down after awhile. The portable john was very smelly and needed emptying. But the owner was very nice and let us pick our spot.

Great stay!
We had a great overnight stay at the hobby farm. We tent-camped and had plenty of space, water to clean our dishes, and a comfortable communal area. It was a quick stay, but we enjoyed it! Thanks so much!

I stayed at Luke’s campsite twice during a cross country roadtrip and it was wonderful. Directions were clear, and Luke provided such a warm, accommodating and safe atmosphere. I will definitely be staying here my next trip. Thank you, Luke!
