Escape to the quiet countryside at Cow Team Campsites in Patten, Maine, a peaceful primitive camping spot just outside of town and close to local trail access. Set on a grassy, mostly level site, this private campground is ideal for self-contained campers looking for a simple, no-frills place to relax. The property is located about one mile from the center of Patten and less than 500 yards from access to the rail trail, making it a convenient base for ATV riding, exploring nearby trails, or simply enjoying the quiet surroundings. The road is typically peaceful, with very little traffic aside from occasional ATV riders. The site accommodates up to eight guests and allows up to two vehicles. Suitable rigs include travel trailers, pop-up campers, Class B and Class C RVs, campervans, cars, truck campers, and rooftop tents under 20 feet. The site is pull-through, 2WD accessible, and set on a flat grass or field surface. Pets are welcome, but please note that campfires are not allowed. This is a fully primitive camping experience, with no toilets, showers, or potable water provided, so guests must bring their own camp toilet, drinking water, and other essentials.
