Our delightfully funny 5 acre farmstead was built by Swedish Pioneers in 1876 and we began our Hipcamp Service on 18 June 2023. We have a variety of spaces for vehicles, tents and small campers midst leaning trees and funky old farm buildings. Rustically quaint we are - 2 dogs, 2 sheep, one goat and shy cats. Well water via hydrant, drinkable water available. Access to electricity if you have an extension cord. Lots of campfire wood to use and take. The Milky Way on a clear night. - SMACK IN THE BELLY BUTTON of the U.S.A. 30 minutes from the intersection of INTERSTATE 70 (east-west) and INTERSTATE 135 (north-south) - VERY SAFE and especially comfortable for those traveling alone. Very popular with solo travelers cuz we have gates and Loud and Cautious Hosts. - PARK AT YOUR CAMPSITE - The one acre paddocks are surrounded by 4-5 foot fencing. Humans and pets can RUN WILD AND FREE - HEADS UP. You must message updates on arrival time and special requests. The Human Host, not Canine Hosts, must plan to open the gate and be ready to help. WE ARE ART AND KINDNESS IN PROGRESS. A sense of humor and flexible joy for creative chaos will help give you a funny little farm experience. (More apt, Funny Farm Experience). Nearby LINDSBORG has a population of 3,200, but has White’s Foodliner, a great grocery store with a Swedish aisle, National Geographic Photographer at Small World Gallery, great shops, pharmacy, Dala Horses on every corner and LOTS of events. You can walk to it from your campsite. Three miles into town. Bike for Swedish Pancakes. The cozy corner next to The Whitehouse is a sweet spot to pitch your tent or vehicle. Trees and front row view of Kansas sunset. The Whitehouse, a chicken coop built before the 1876 home, is filled with hay and soft places to sit or sleep during a storm. The Whitehouse is within an acre area surrounded by a five foot welded wire fence, so you can let your restless dog, grumpy child and other humans run wild and free. It is most private area in the Middlemost Paddock dispersal option. Campfire is ready, if no wind ban.

Pleasant grassy areas available to pitch your tent right next to your vehicle. The paddock is in middle of the five acres and closest to Jon the Outhouse and water hydrant. The one plus acre is surrounded by five foot welded wire fencing so animals and wild children are safe to run free.

Oh my, my hubby and I cant say enough good things about our visit. Beverly is beyond the nicest hostess. If you need anything. She had it all. We loved that everything was fenced in. I think our doggies had the best camping trip ever. So secluded and with the beauty of trees. Just added to the omninance. Just relax and enjoy. Oh and the outhouse is so adorable I have never been in such the cutest thing ever. Hand sanitizer, spray to smell nice, trashcan, and I have had a stroke so mobility is less than good. However, I don't use a walker. I use a walking stick. Anyhow, in the outhouse has like a handicap potty sea this helps me allot get up and down. I hope everyone has an opportunity to go here. I just can't say how enough how much fun we had here.

My boyfriend and I had a great time during our short trip! Beverly is fantastic, ensuring we had everything to have the best experience for any type of camper! Great communication, flexibility, and overall just really kind. The pets on her land are timid at first but are sweethearts, Beverly ensured we were comfortable and offered options if we didn’t want to be around the animals. (But seriously they’re so sweet and Beverly gave us some food to win them over😄). Felt like I was staying with family, we are already planning a second trip here next year

We loved staying the night at Beverly’s. From the moment you pull in, it feels like you just made to your friends house. My son got multiple tours of the garden and helped with the sheep chores. A special memory for an unconventional trip.

Beverly is a very welcoming and thoughtful host. I enjoyed visiting with her and her dogs, goats and sheep. The land felt peaceful, safe and quiet. I'd highly recommend!

Farm Fun!

Gypsy, 1948 Teardrop Romance

Beverly is the sweetest! She's so easy-going and kind, and her space is a dream. I stayed in the Gypsy camper for a night while driving from Colorado to Illinois, and it was the perfect lil getaway. Beverly even let me feed her sheep and goats in the morning! This is the perfect spot if you're looking for good conversation and good vibes.
