You won't believe you are still in Kansas! C2T Ranch is a working regenerative cattle ranch, with over 4 miles of Saline River running through it. Amazing 150' tall limestone cliffs rise above river and several spring fed creeks feed into the river. There is hiking galore in the canyons or on the cliffs, fishing in the rivers, or bird watching on the native prairie above the cliffs. Fossil hunters can find a variety of fossilized shells, as well as native septarian and calcite for the rockhounds. Our picturesque, secluded campground has primitive and powered campsites, plus several glamping tent, all dispersed along an amazing horseshoe bend of the Saline River, each with direct river access. We're only a 20 minute drive north of Hays, Kansas and I-70, come visit us today!

Great spot. Only stayed one night. Great responsive hosts. Site was as described and with firewood at pit, though we did not use. Very quiet and private with spots very spaced out, wonderful night sky area. We had even ordered their cinnamon rolls and they were warm and delivered to camp Saturday morning! Would definitely stay again, spend more time if possible!

Love the wide open meadows with shade trees, horses and cows grazing nearby, and pretty flat sites - very spread out. We were in Wanda’s Place near the river with a view of the breaks. Porta Potty a few hundred yards away. So peaceful!

This was such a beautiful place! I only wish we could've stayed longer! Very private, beautiful scenery, the soft tranquil sounds of the cattle and crickets in the background. Perfect! The host was so accommodating - over the top honestly. We arrived late and the nearest grocery was closed. He was happy to bring us a meal and was so welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

Rylie"s Retreat WAS A TREAT! I had a really nice time camping on this spot. Lots of trees that bring great shade for the heat of Kansas during the week I was there. I was very quiet., peaceful and laid out nicely. Lots lof land to explore. Natural cliffs and a beautiful landscape create a really nice place to come camping.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time here! We spent the night in one of the glamping tents and it was amazing and everything we would need was there. The views were beautiful! We will definitely be coming back again and bringing our family to it. Next time I also want to try some of those yummy baked good Cynthia makes! Great camping spot and I also appreciated how they let us have early check in that was really sweet for them to do that

Returning here after being here with a very large group in 2021, it is just as great as I remember. It is a ranch, so there are cows, a few did get past the fence and were around our camp. They aren't aggressive or anything, just a little startling if you're not expecting them. The owners are super nice and helpful, the sites are clean and well managed. The portapotties were also super duper clean which we were grateful for. This is a great place to stay if you're into wildlife, I hope it stays unchanged for years to come as it is beautiful habitat for our native species. Me and my naturalist enthusiast friends really enjoyed our stay, even in the 100+ degree heatwave.

10 - Wanda's Place
First off, we must point out that Chad was very responsive and helpful before our arrival and during our stay! We are very grateful and enjoyed meeting him. The C2T property is very scenic, expansive, and peaceful. The Wanda campsite has a lot of shade which was much appreciated during the hot spell occurring while we were there. It also has plenty of sun to offer as well. The water and electric hookups worked flawlessly, and Chad was kind enough to provide us with a converter for 50 to 30 amps. There are lots of opportunity to walk the property, and take in the occasional sounds of the cows. If lucky enough, you might even be accompanied by Abbi, the owner’s super sweet dog, or come across the horses grazing around the property. Before arriving, we had ordered Cynthia’s homemade zucchini bread, sandwich bread, and jam, all of which are YUMMY and are a real treat while on our road trip! Lastly, we had a really good meal at The Handle-Bar Tavern in Plainville and would definitely recommend it. We would absolutely return to C2T and recommend it without hesitation!
