Unique Stay in an Atlas F Missile Base Educational Center Welcome to an extraordinary adventure at our converted Atlas F Missile Base, now an Educational Center and unique guest retreat! The top floor of the Launch Control Center serves as a shared space for fascinating guided tours, offered twice daily at 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM. These tours are perfect for guests camping, passing through, or staying overnight, providing a deep dive into the history of this remarkable site. You can book separate from camping a historical tour of the Missile Base property and the underground Launch Control Center with a tunnel that leads to the 176 ft. deep Missile Silo.(This is a construction zone, as the bunker is being renovated into an underground home. Be prepared to sign liability waivers.) Located in the Smoky Hills of Kansas, you will be camping in beautiful fields with great views of a 250 MW windfarm. Hike over a mile of trails on the property and pick out your own camp spot. Join other guests at the top of the Missile Silo for a campfire at night and enjoy stargazing. Just mins away from the local tavern and restaurants in Wilson & a Brewery in the small town of Sylvan Grove. Nearby is Lake Wilson, one of the largest and cleanest lakes in the State, there are water sports and Epic rated mountain biking trails.
