The host, Bill, is a fellow RVer and was timely with responses/communication and pleasant to work with. The site I was in had a pretty good view of the lake and is in a quiet neighborhood in general.
While the power and sewer all worked fine, there was a clear issue with the water supply. It’s very clean water but the water flow was often problematic with falling flow- and sometimes no flow, after running the faucets or toilet. Through a series of tests, I was able to isolate the problem to the water spigot source.

Beware, not what we expected!

Bill ruined the last 2 days of our vacation. We reserved spot 1 or 2, as advertised, but when we arrived we were put in a totally different (non-rv) spot. Bill informed us that he let the other renters stay an add'l night so we couldn't have our spot. We had issues with leveling, waterline, and the electricity line, which he had to unplug his own trailer to accomodate us. We paid for the beautiful view, but instead had a filtered view through trees, in front of his personal pet cemetery. It was a very stressful start, after a long drive day. We were looking forward to relaxation for the last 2 days of our vacation. We were very disappointed and upset that he pulled this switch on us. He let us know we could put our chairs in front of the view the next morning when the previous renters left and/or move the trailer. We decided to just move our chairs, to avoid all the extra work on our last day. That morning, we get an email saying he thought we were leaving and rented out the view spot. We had until 4pm to go home, move chairs, or move trailer into the view spot. We decided to move and take another hour out of our relaxation time. The next renters showed up early, drove into our spot, which they thought was theirs, as advertised. They were visibly confused. We showed them where he had us the night before, and they were not happy either. He did refund us 1 night "to smooth things out" but that didn't make up for the disappointment he put us through.

Absolutely beautiful site with a view of the lake. The area was peaceful and close to trails, which is exactly what we were looking for. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Follow the directions Bill give, Bonnell can be easy to miss and my navigation didn’t pick it up right away. We enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommend this location.

I cannot say enough good things about Bill! This was our first time renting an RV, and unfortunately, the company we rented from gave us a vehicle in poor condition. Bill's property was our first stop on a cross-country trip, and we are so thankful for all the help and knowledge he provided.
He went above and beyond to help us, and we truly appreciate everything he did. We don't know what we would have done without him. We felt safe the entire time, and the property was very quiet and peaceful.
I highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed the space at Bill’s place. A lake view and all. Felt very private and a good location to explore the area. Would definitely go back if we returned to Coeur D’Alene.
