We occasionally auction off antique FURNITURE if one person selects this package! This package also includes Copies of the original land tract documents, which one of the handful of remaining that remember filling that house with foot steps was kind enough to let us photograph and digitally enhance! Per Person! Comes with a burlap bag to hold the maps that were only worth knowing only if you didn’t care for your neighbor! That old wire fence and rock wall was enough to tell where one fellows piece of the pie started and the crust ended! Old magazines, a section of carpet, a board from the front porch that hopefully no one misses! A piece of the kitchen counter that laid the foundation of over a thousand meals and helped fill tens of thousands of bellys. A 4 x 4 square cut off a curtain, a religious memento or scripture literature, or perhaps buried treasure even we missed! Right under our noses! While still under mother nature's cold embrace, coupled with father times constant stare! Each $25.00 will be going toward sourcing period correct lumber and interior accents for a truly genuine restoration, We aren't planning on painting it pretty and charging even prettier. We want to hear it's heart beat again. We want to see the smoke from the chimney. We want to pull the water from the well. We want to open the front door, and step outside of 2026 into a world where newsprint was when someone figured out how to run faster! • Blackwell Historic House Tour $25.00 per personThis option brings you INSIDE the 100+ Year old house on the property! You and up to SIX friends can step directly into one of the last existing time capsules showing the hardy determination of Georgias most hardworking generation. That's what is left of it anyway! Which is surprisingly quite a bit! Riddled with antique furniture and an oddly quiet air about the decaying walls and floor covered in the soft sweet smell of an evening dew. Reminds you of a simpler time. Guests can collect one item of their choosing for an additional $10.00 outside of the furniture or anything that's bolted/nailed/attached to the structure. Small splinters of wood are acceptable. Magazines, tufts of clothing, and other items are also up for grabs! We think of it as slowly getting ready for the restoration, one small piece of wood at a time! Treat it as a plant, and only trim it's dead leaves. We plan some day to bring it back to it's former glory. So for a lousy ten bucks you can grab a piece of history and put it in your pocket. While helping the project move along! & On your trip home you're going to feel it taking up that space in your cupholder or on the dash. or even still in your pocket. Carry it with you remembering someone's entire family was raised inside the walls of a time where things were simpler, and even through the harshness of the world the historic home and the kin of those that live here are still around today. We are hoping within the next decade you can see what it would've been to truly know Georgia's southern heart, lost to time in the woods.
