We booked this place unexpectedly and late at night, everything worked out just fine! Woke up to turkeys, goats, donkeys, a shower & super friendly hosts. While we weren’t here long, I would absolutely go back and would recommend this place to anyone.

The spot was very nice and quiet, Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Lots of animals to see joy on property. Shower and restroom area was clean and well kept. Location was pretty ideal to any events the area has. Would stay again if my adventures brought me back to the area.

Very nice camping experience!! Shaded, quiet, and lots of animals too connect with. Bought eggs and goat milk soap that the host sells. Secluded but yet close to stores. Would recommend!!!!

Had a wonderful stay here with the goats and chickens! By far the best outdoor bathroom & shower I’ve been to. The host is funny and generous, their property offers a surprising amount of privacy for its proximity to any shop you could need. They fit us in last minute midweek, truly a great spot to stay!

Great location since we wanted to be close to town but still off the beaten path. Ideal for kids to be close to the chickens and goats. Great host who were friendly especially toward the kids giving them some education and allow to assist in chores. Had access to fresh eggs and goat milk. A very relaxing & private atmosphere Would definitely return if we are in the area.

This is a lovely spot with a bathroom and shower. More importantly, there are goats. And Jacksonvile the Dog. Be sure to check out little Tiger Lily and her white ears!

Chicken Walk
The campground has 4-5 camping spots. This allows each camper a sense of privacy and separation from the other sites. It is very peaceful and being able to interact with the animals is very special.
The bathroom and shower were a welcome addition.
Kathryn is a great host who is friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed sitting by the campfire and by the goat pen talking together. She and Mike were very willing to help when I needed an extra pair of hands. They also told me about special events, like the annual Dog Parade and the weekly flea market.

We were looking for a fun place to take our grandkids for their first camping experience and The Goat Farm did not disappoint! Mike and Kathryn were gracious and fun hosts. The kids loved getting to feed and play with all the animals, especially baby Tiger Lily, and hunting for bowling balls!. We might make it an annual trip so we can see the animals grow up and grow in numbers.

We loved camping here! We met the hosts upon arrival and they introduced us to all the animals. My kids loved interacting with the animals, especially Tiger Lily, the baby goat. Will recommend to all of my friends!

Perfect spot to camp under some beautiful oaks! It was wonderful to hang out with the goats, chickens & turkeys. The hosts were good company and kind, and their doggie pack adorable. There’s everything a tent camper needs: campfire pit, picnic tables and a cute cabin bathroom to shower in. Will be back!

Mike and Kathy are wonderful hosts and they make you feel welcome. Their place is so comfortable and unique. All the animals are delightful to interact with. My pup and I so enjoyed our time there and hope do do so again.

True Trails is a calm relaxing place to stay. The hosts are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful.
I enjoy being around farm animals. I goat to hold a new born baby goat. And also appreciate that the property is fully fenced in and dog friendly.

My daughter and I enjoyed the location very much. We were close to grocery store and gas stations. Perfect hub to go and venture the neighboring roads. Kathryn and her husband were great hosts. The accommodations as well as the hook ups were as described. As for the farm itself... The animals were very friendly and fun to play with. When you book your stay, I suggest to order the eggs in advance. They were soooo good!

A very special place, lovely and charming people, and friendly & welcoming creatures with wings, paws, and hooves. I pitched my tent and took a couple of delightful days of rest here, visiting the manatees at their winter gathering place in Blue Spring State Park. I'd meant to camp at the park itself and when I found it was full I booked a spot on this farm thru HipCamp. It's very close to the vibrant college town of Deland, so very convenient, and about 20 minutes or so from the park. Kathryn and Mike were as warm and good-humored as people can be, relaxing to be around. I was visited by goats, pups, and turkeys, and was invited to feed the donkey and goats in the enclosure. Another very sweet and mellow couple had their RV there too and made nice neighbors.
The place is on a relatively busy road, but the lush cover of live oaks and palms provides shade, privacy and enveloping beauty. Truly an oasis. I was comforted by the tinkling bells of the goats as I could hear them gradually settling down for the night, and the lot next door is all woods. Sometimes there are loud cars going by, and the roosters start early. The roosters were great for me as I wanted to get to the park at the opening of the gate. You might bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The second night my neighbors' RV A/C provided soothing white noise and I slept like a baby. The outhouse building is adorable and functions very well. Shower is nice and hot!
I'll come back again any chance I get.
