Aframe Cabin Tent nestled in a 4 acre olive orchard. We are a working farm and harvest and mill our olives into high quality, extra virgin olive oil. Free range chickens and ducks and rescue dogs roam the grounds. Cabin tent side opens, queen bed, Wi-fi, heat and AC, TV, electric outlets and fire pit. Kitchenette and bathrooms are separate from the cabin tent. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster over/ air fryer, hot plate, pots and pans. We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!). If you don't have your own RV, you can rent one from Ray Day's RV Rentals (229-515-7008), which is literally around the corner.

We also have 6 acres to hike and explore in "The Wild". The trails meander alongside the creek, through the pines and under oaks. The entire property can be explored and you are welcome to picnic under the oaks. We have a main barn where we host occasional events and retreats. We are located 5 minutes from historic downtown Brooksville and 20-30 minutes from us you can find amazing springs, beaches, atv off roading trails, hiking and one of the best treetop rope courses in the country.

Our well-maintained campsite is a big, open area with full sun, surrounded by trees which give you plenty of shade if preferred. It is quiet and dark enough for you to hear the wildlife at night!
The primitive backyard campsite rural, secluded and easy accessible, the spot is 20 feet wide so you’ll have enough space for your motorhome to pull in.
We, the owners, will be your neighbors (on the same property) so we can assist you with your needs. Right now what we have available is a 20 amp extension cord and a water hose. You can also run your generator.
THINGS TO DO
The wildlife management area is a one minute walk from the campsite with the buford and eagle nest springs inside. There is also a distillery (NJoy Spirit) on site.
Seven Sisters springs are a ten minute car ride away. You can rent a kayak or a canoe to go out and see dolphins, turtles, alligators, manatees, snakes, deer, various birds or even bears.
Other springs in the area are Hunters Springs, Rogers Park and Three Sisters springs.
Crystal River is a charming, historical town 25 minutes north.
You’ll pass Homosassa and their State Park (the oldest Hippo Lu (65) lives here). At the waterfront restaurant ‘Crumps’ you can watch monkeys on an island!
Dames Cave in Lecanto is about 17 minutes from here with multiple caves to explore.
The famous Weeki Wachee Springs State park is a 15 minute drive south highway 19.
Howard’s Flea Market is the largest in Citrus County, 10 minutes north from the camp site.
‚Adventure Flg X’ is a fun Zip Line park in Brooksville.
Rainbow River Springs is an hour north from Twin Pines. The park has beautiful scenic trails and a water temperature of 72 degrees year round which invites you to explore the river in a tube or kayak.
The Weeki Wachee preserve is another beautiful, close spot worth visiting.
Disney World, Legoland and Universal Studios are within two hours.
St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa and Tarpon Springs are must-see cities!
Beaches: Pine Island, Fort Island, Sunwest Park Beach. Further away: Madeira Beach, Honeymoon Island & Fort DeSoto. Make sure the beaches are open!

Privacy and country comforts, yet 3 miles from the I-75 exit. Grocery and restaurants nearby as well. There is a stable and 2 cross-fenced paddocks for grazing. An RV site with 30A power and water hookup, but no restroom available fo the RV site. A one room cabin with a queen bed is available with a separate full bathroom. Come visit our friendly donkey (Henry) and Scottish Highland cow (Wallace). You will hear roosters, braying and some mooing early in the morning. The Withlacoochee Trail is a mile east at the end of the road. This is a biking, hiking and equestrian trail. Florida Classic Park is roughly 2 miles north on Lockhart. The Croom Recreational Area is also 3 miles away.
If you are traveling with farm animals, we do have (2) 2-acre cross-fenced paddocks available for an additional fee. We also have a stable available, but that does have a concrete floor with mats. Please reach out to us directly in this regard.

This spot is a little slice of heaven for those who dream of a view of pastures and horses. I would love to one day own a few acres and horse. Spotted Dance gives you a chance to observe from a distance , or if you are curious enough to inquire, John might give you an oppotunity to experiece owning these majestic animals. I got a chace to participate infeeding horses, cleaning stalls, and getting close to these beautiful creatures. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! The best place to come reset and relax. We took carrots up to the fence and the donkeys and cows just came right to us. The animals are friendly and the people are friendly and beyond accommodating. Cindy let us take her golf cart on a ride around the property. Best place I’ve stayed so far absolutely recommend and we will be back.

We loved the way the campsite was put together. Shawn put some thought into the lit footpath and fire pit area. We enjoyed the direct waterfront with kayaks provided. We saw several manatees while kayaking and the river is beautiful. We want to return when we can stay longer! All amenities are close by.

Newer campground, not too far from the Gulf of America and too many seafood restaurants and watering holes to count! Ran into the owner once, then all was quiet for our 10 night stay. I loved the interaction with the animals and the relaxing vibe of the place. It’s ideal for a visit as a couple, with family, or even solo to recharge your energy. Plus, the setting is beautiful—perfect for taking photos or simply enjoying the scenery.
The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. I would definitely visit again. 100% recommended for anyone looking for something different and special in Florida!

My daughters had a great time with the paddle boards and kayaks. It was a comfortable site for the RV. And the location was great as it was near everything needed.
Will definitely be back a few more times as the river is so clear and so close to Roger’s park etc..

We absolutely loved our stay at this RV site on the river! We had such a great time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The site was very clean and well-kept, which made our stay even more comfortable. The owners were also incredibly helpful, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell they care about their guests and take pride in their property. We would definitely stay here again!

This Rustic Retreat House is good for "River Rats" -- people who want to spend the most time outdoors kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, lounging on the chairs, having a campfire and smores at night. This place is not for "Swan Princesses" -- it is not fancy or new. It is rustic. There are 2 bedrooms & we loved the firm foam mattress in the Captain's Quarters bedroom. My kids slept fine in the other bed, but it was softer. There is one bathroom & the tub has hot water, but it is a bit finicky to turn on/off. There is no formal kitchen, if you need to actually cook, this is not the place for you.
We really enjoyed getting away for the weekend & our primary purpose was to be outside on the water, in the water, visit Roger's Park which was only about a 15-20 minute kayak ride away, & explore the area, eat good seafood. We really wanted to see some manatees & saw a mama and her baby -- yay -- plus lots of birds, some fish, some turtles.
We loved getting up in the morning & going right out back to the boats, getting in the water, paddling around the Mud River/Weeki Wachee. Then at night we roasted hot dogs, made smores by the fire.
The house is located right at a thoroughfare so you do get to see all the other kayakers, boats, jet skis which we enjoyed.
This house is best for people that are more chill & lower expectations. It is not glamorous -- it's old, a bit overcrowded, & the floors tilt, but it's great for getting away, using the boats, & being on the river.
