Recommends

Tent camped at The WOODS TOO, Mar 2026.
Doesn't recommend
For $17 its hard to complain. But after 3 disturbing visits, its important to equip the public with helpful info . You will see similar reviews for this site. 1) The entrance is not marked at all. 2) Upon entering the property, campsites are poorly if not marked at all. I witnessed multiple campers arrive and struggle to decipher the cryptic lay of the property. 3) Trash and building materials are strewn across the property. (This has been the case for years) 4) Poop buckets are tossed around tent sites. When they are placed in the owners desired location, they will be 10' from your neighbor's tent. 5) Despite the website saying RVs are accepted on the profile. No level ground is available. Yet the owner is hostile toward anyone parking in the one slightly inclined spot available, which blocks nothing. This is enforced even if you're the only camper on the property for the evening. (?) 6) After confusion regarding the name my reservation was made under, I politely clarified the situation via phone until the owner was satisfied. The owner then felt it was still necessary to call my adult son and ask the same excessive questions about who we were and felt compelled to let him know "I will come up there at midnight to check on things" (threat?) With the amount of money the owners invested in several near buildings, its strange they would not clean the property. Their militant enforcement would leave you to believe this is an organized place, but its not.
