Camp Declan is difficult to describe because it is so many things rolled into one. First, it is a private six-acre hardwood forest with 400’ of shoreline on a fresh-water, all-purpose lake. The air is clean and fresh and the fish, birds and Florida wildlife teem around you. Second, are the three buildings Cabin, Cabana and Bunkhouse. Each has a bathroom and the Cabin and Bunkhouse accommodate 18 overnight guests comfortably. The Cabana serves as outdoor bar/kitchen and hangout. Larger groups can be accommodated with a little ingenuity, too. Third, the layout of the property is such that the lake and large floating dock are always the star of the show. Whether you’re playing volleyball, badminton or horse shoes, sitting around the fire pit or canoeing on the lake, the sum of its parts makes a wonderful private indoor/outdoor lodging and recreation space for fishing, swimming, boating and grilling. CAMP DECLAN Lake Cabin & Bunkhouse

Camp Declan was a fabulous place for our family get together. There was so much to do. My family loved sitting by the fire and playing in the lake. The house and bunkhouse were comfortable, but there was also plenty of room to pitch a tent for people that wanted more privacy. The ice maker was especially helpful for keeping our ice chests full. Declan has really thought of everything!

CAMP DECLAN Lake Cabin & Bunkhouse

Beautiful lakeside property with large oaks, hammocks, and large dock! We had wonderful stay at this well maintained camp, our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. Our favorite area was the outdoor kitchen/bar and patio area that is fully equipped with an ice machine, plenty of seating, and even a giant fan to keep the bugs away!

Amazing camping trip

Amazing experience! Declan was pleasant to speak with in preparation of camp. The campsite is absolutely amazing!! So many great memories and the accommodations were really nice. A+++
