You'll be close to the Charlotte Harbor Preserve, which offers walking trails to the harbor, and near Crystal Lake Park. Burnt Store Marina is only one mile north and offers restaurants that are open to the public. This is a floating tiny home equipped with air conditioning, hot and cold water, a flush toilet, and a shower. The kitchen area includes a refrigerator, microwave, gas grill, and coffee maker. Great little spot for a quiet reset with solid comfort. The tiny home was cozy, clean, organized, and had all the necessities (and then some). The A/C was nice and cold — which is a big deal, especially heading into the warmer months — and everything felt simple, well set up, and easy to settle into. The host was awesome: very hospitable, responsive, and made the stay feel welcoming. Only thing to note (just so expectations are set): it’s close to the main road, so you do hear some traffic, and Saturday night there was some noise from 4-wheelers. It didn’t ruin the stay for me, but if you’re looking for total silence, bring earplugs or plan for a bit of background noise. Overall, a great value and a comfortable, well-kept place — I’d definitely stay again.
