This was a perfect little spot for a private experience with my family! Overlooking the Klamath River was a perfect backdrop for our little overnighter!!

Friendly host who checked in on me on arrival to ensure I had all I needed or if I needed help with setting up. (Solo female camper) the site was relaxing and just what I needed. It is on my list to go back to.

What a nice and quiet spot to get some alone time with that someone special! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at overlook 1, and would recommend it to anyone looking for privacy and beauty. There are bears in the area, as evidenced by 7 giant piles of bear poop and scratches on a tree so bring protection. Other than that, the place was absolutely perfect! Nice view of the river too!!!

Ryan’s land is very private and quiet with the exception of the water running nearby. I ended up getting there very late and could not find it at first. Make sure you download an off-line map and don’t be like me. Once I found my spot I was a happy camper though. I really think the water helped me sleep better than I have in a long time. Highly recommend.

Roomy campsite with a nice view of the Klamath river. Brian was very friendly and helpful. Really beautiful scenic drive to the coast and redwoods. A little out of the way but nearby towns will have gas and staples. No cell signal, starlink works close to the house but not at the campsite--you can park in the driveway to use it to plan out your trip before heading out for the day.

Our kind of place, Madrone, Chinkapin
and other species produced a wonderful fragrance. Great shade trees to sit under that also had a good river view. The site included a fire ring, firewood, and solar lights for the night. There was a path to the river. Private, and our dog loved it. We appreciated the thought behind our site .

Quiet, dark and private! Great views and sounds from the creek and river at camp spots. A bunch of unique tucked away tent sights. Plenty of firewood and a clean toilet which is always nice. Brian and John were helpful and friendly the minute I showed up until I left.

New spot overlooking the river which is very remote. Nice breeze in the evening but the trail to the river was not clearly marked and seemed overgrown. The host was very nice and accommodating and is adding improvements. The spot was very private and we had amazing views of the stars.

This was a truly brilliant location to find. Brian was so incredible and welcoming, and the campsite was both very private, expansive, and easily accessible to the river. We slept out under the stars and spent the days wading in the river and resting in our hammock. Highly highly recommended!

Tent camping was super quiet and peaceful. The new wood out house on site was clean and provided an extra level of comfort. Host provided good directions to camp site as well as offering a few options to the trails to the river.

The spot is really cool overlooking the river. We really liked how the host went above and beyond, even providing us with bottled water and starting the campfire for us before we arrived. The bathroom was very nice inside and very new. If I'm ever in the area I wouldn't be afraid to stay again!
