Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Hollyhock Hill is a private, 2 acre, 135 year old homestead just 1/2 hour from Oroville CA and one hour from Grass Valley/Nevada City CA. We have 2 small orchards of Pear and Apple trees, Blackberries, Grapes and Italian Prune plums. In summer, help yourself to fresh veggies from our garden. There is a trail out the back property, and a number of nearby lakes for fishing and boating. The Yuba Feather History Museum is a 2 minute walk across the main road, next to a lovely park with playground, bathrooms, BBQ grills, and basketball hoop.Come stay on our 130 year old Fruit Farm in the Sierra foothills-- pick your own apples, pears, blackberries, grapes . . . depending on the season! Enjoy a walk along the seasonal creek, (flume), cross over the main, country road to spend time at the park with and visit the Yuba Feather Museum. Fish and boat at one of the many nearby lakes. Walk down the road to the corner, country store (closed on Mondays), and grab a delicious deli sandwich, ice cream bar, fishing supples, souvenirs, and groceries.
