This is a great spot to camp among the Saguaro Cacti! 🌵It’s very close to the North Belmont access to the National Park (literally 100yds or so) with some very nice trails to make a loop hike or run.

My stay at Crested Saguaro was wonderful. Vincent was kind and helpful and within walking distance of Saguaro National Park. In fact, the location overall was super convenient. The casita had everything I needed for that stay. I would definitely recommend staying.

Vince was a great host. As I was bike camping, Vince suggested a couple great hikes & drove me to trailheads to then hike back to my camp site. Vince even took me to a grocery store to get provisions in town.
Great spot for hiking & great host!!! I stayed a total of 5 days over a course of two weeks exploring the Tucson area…..

This was perfect for what we needed - a place to sleep and relax between hikes. The host was responsive and kind, they stayed up to greet us even though our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until after 1am. They even left us some fresh fruit!
We had planned a very simple trip so the accommodations were more than we needed - microwave, toaster oven, fridge. The linens were clean, but not much else was. The lack of cleanliness (excessive dust everywhere, a pile of dead bugs behind the bathroom door) was really the only downside, otherwise great stay.

A convenient and comfortable, quiet place to stay if you like the desert. All the comforts of home, including quiet verandah. Note tight curved driveway so not for those towing long trailers.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Casita. Easy to find, Vince met me at the security gate and gave me all the info needed for a comfortable stay. You are surrounded by an above average amount of awesome huge Saguaro cactus and other Tucson desert plants all around the property! A very scenic Saguaro west N park hiking trail 100 yards up the road. 20 minutes to downtown . 30 scenic drive minutes to the welcome center. I would gladly stay here again.

Vincent was a wonderful host and gave very clear directions and was there waiting when we arrived. The little cabin was comfortable and private and had everything we needed. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife and having places to walk nearby. The views were beautiful and we would recommend this place and would return. Inside the little cabin looks better than the pictures showed it and there are many things to read and see as well as a wonderful TV and refrigerator and air conditioner.. we had excellent phone reception there also. We would come again and recommend it.

Vincent and Julie and Cleo are all very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Appropriately priced so the value is good. Besides some blooming desert plants, I saw hummingbird, quail and cactus wren. Vincent was very accommodating by providing equipment needed plus information about the area. There are pamphlets and maps available. Quiet and peaceful so at night we got excellent sleep. If we return to the area, I would definitely hope the property is available.

The land is so beautiful and peaceful. There were coyotes howling (far off) in the distance to end the day and mourning doves to greet the Sun! Vincent is a gracious host, so friendly and welcoming, and he is a wealth of knowledge about the area! I hope to make a longer trip of it next time to see more of the stunning Saguaro park!

Easy access to Tucson & Saguaro National Park! Site was large, easy to access & I especially enjoyed the stars & the cactuses at night. Primitive camping without water / bathrooms etc, but no problem if you come prepared . Vincent even came by to check on things & share some cacti knowledge & trail recommendations, overall a very pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice and private and we liked how close we were to the park. It was just a short drive into town which was nice too. We saw lots of wildlife in the area which was very exciting as well.

What a beautiful spot! Right out of Tucson and right on the border of Saguaro National Park West. Of course the sunrise and sunset and star gazing was amazing. Vincent met me to explain that the pull in is between the 2 pillars before his house (the house numbering is confusing and google maps took me one house past his to his neighbor’s driveway). Very appreciative.

The Casita was cute and comfortable for a quick getaway in Tucson. The owners, Vincent and Terry, were extremely nice and helpful, and added to the charm of the place. Their proximity to Saguaro National Park West makes it easy to go on many day hikes, and provides peaceful desert scenery for quiet nights and mornings.

Kind hosts who are flexible with check in time. Humble lodging with clean sheets to sleep in.
There were a few things that could be improved, as check in was delayed because the host was not onsite upon arrival and we were not sure how to enter the property. WiFi was advertised in this listing but host sent incorrect password twice before I gave up and went to bed.
It was a neat location and close to the West Saguaro National park.

What we expected for a quick stop while CC traveling. Vincent was nice. The only thing I would mention is W.Belmont is broken up in different sections and google maps took west of where we needed to be. We saw an Amazon driver and he assisted in locating the correct section.

Very friendly host! We arrived in Tucson later than we wanted and needed a place to camp, Vincent still took the time to come out and made sure we made it to the site and give us a tour even though it was late in the night! The campsite was just as described and very peaceful! A beautiful site to wake up to with the mountains in the back drop and wildlife doing their thing! Super grateful for him and look forward to staying again!

I highly recommend this site to anyone who is looking to explore Tucson/Saguaro. It is very close to grocery shopping and the park. On top of the location, Vincent is extremely helpful and communicate clearly. We had a blast despite arriving very late. And everything was very smooth.

I absolutely loved staying at Crested Saguaro Ranchita. The house is cozy and has everything one needs for a little getaway. I spent a lot of time out on the patio enjoying the magnificent desert views. The park is a short walk over so very convenient for those looking to hike. Vincent is a wonderful host and provided lots of info about the plants and wildlife in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Vincent was easy to work with and available to answer questions. The property is beautiful! It is full of cacti and wildflowers and the stars at night were amazing! The casita itself was cleaner and nicer than I thought it was going to be based on the pictures. It was comfortable with AC and heat, which we used both. The bed was comfortable and shower had great water pressure. Definitely recommend and would stay again on a future trip to the area as it was convenient to restaurants but felt remote.

We had an absolutely wonderful 6 week stay at the Ranchita. The owners, Vince and Terry, were warm, welcoming, and very helpful.
We loved that their property was next to the boundary of Saguaro National Park to hike one of the many beautiful trails any time we desired. Many afternoons were spent on the porch being entertained by the coyotes, Gambels quails, doves, rabbits, squirrels and admiring the beautiful desert flora when not out and about visiting all the other attractions Tucson has to offer.
The Ranchita was perfect for our needs since we usually travel the country in our campervan and appreciate simplicity. My husband has mobility issues and has a difficult time with stairs so it was especially welcome that there were none. Vince is working on many projects to improve the property so would love to see the finished product someday.

Area was well-kept and relatively secluded yet close to town. The property abuts a reserve with many fine trails. Vincent has firsthand knowledge of many of the surrounding trails and is glad to lend his expertise. Tenting was good!
