The camper looked exactly like the photos and was a great size for two of us and even fit our Great Dane! Valeria was a sweetheart and it was fun getting to hang with the farm animal. Great location if you’re looking to visit Bisbee without spending a ton.

The whole place was very cute. I stayed warm under the blankets they provided. There were a few maintenance issues but otherwise it was fine. They definitely have a wonderful homestead.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place. The hosts were so kind and generous and had amazing stories, and it was so fun to watch the farm animals and play with their puppy. It was educational to see a different way of living. They grow their own food and they built their house from the earth. It was inspiring to witness a way of living off grid and in harmony with nature. Would recommend!

Cute setup on a cute property. If you are comfortable living in an "off grid" style, then this is for you. If you want more traditional luxury glamping, keep looking.

Stayed with these guys for a night. Such an awesome warm family. What these guys are doing on their land is inspiring, impressive, and challenges the norm of what it means to live a fulfilling life. Even if earth building/homesteading isn't your thing, if you're traveling solo in Bisbee I highly recommend staying with these guys. You'll feel like you never left home. It's a good time.

It was so inspiring to hear how Valeria bought her land and built an off-grid homestead from what started as tumbleweeds. I also enjoyed being able to to drive less than 10 minutes to have breakfast in Mexico 🙏🏻✨:)

We really enjoyed our one night stay in the cute little camper. The second we pulled up to the site, we were greeted by a friendly and vocal cat who escorted us from car to camper to bathroom and back again. Being on vacation and away from our own cats, having a furry friend spend time with us made us smile. Despite the heat of a desert day in late May, the camper easily cooled off at night once the sun set and the windows were opened. We’d definitely stay here again should our travels take us through Bisbee.

We had a wonderful stay in the cozy gem that is Camper del Desierto. The composting toilet worked out great, a super friendly cat kept us company, the hosts were very welcoming and hospitable, and entire homestead was really amazing and beautiful. Definitely want to come back for another stay!

Camper del Desierto is amazing! It is a small camper at a wonderful location where the hosts are creating a lovely alternative life. Their stucco work and their own home on the property are beautiful! The hosts are really nice, especially their very attentive cat Cherimoya, who hung out with us a lot. This is not for people needing a four or five star hotel, but it is very much for people who need a break, can deal with a composting toilet and a propane range in the camper. The bed is raised up, so it is not for people who sleep standing up. :-) One can see Naco, Mexico from the location, and it's a few miles to Bisbee, going by the Lavender Pit on the way. Their garden, the goats and chickens, the ability to hang out with friendly people all make it worthwhile. We hope to be able to stay here again.

Wow, you won't believe how amazing my experience at the camp was! The stove top, sinks, and extra dishes made cooking a breeze, and the location in Arizona was simply unbeatable. And if you're looking for something to do while you're there, you have to check out the stunning town of Bisbee. Trust me, it's a must-see!
P.S. Plus, the friendly host cat was such a cute addition to our stay - my girlfriend and I absolutely adored it!

Camper del Desierto
I really liked staying at Valerie’s place! The camper top was cozy, but had everything we needed. It’s very close to Historic Bisbee and had some cute goats and chickens nearby. I’d stay here again!

We had a wonderful 3 day stay with Zach and Valeria. It was inspirational to see how they love the land they are on and their willingness to share their lives with other people. We especially enjoyed the tour of their hand-built adobe house.
The goats, chickens, gardens and their beautiful family added to the entire experience.

Cute cozy comfy little camper with a classic Formica Dinette, three burner gas stove, sink with running water (cold and warm), and a nice little front porch. Hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and spent time showing me some of their other construction projects on the property. A very nice place to shelter while it rained.

We had such a lovely time in this beautiful little camper. The bed was surprisingly SO comfortable and we loved waking up to the many animal visitors. Definitely will come back again.

Valeria has such a beautiful place and was so welcoming. The natural beauty of the area and the coziness of the camper made for an incredible stay. The hosts were very accommodating to anything we needed help with, and with many things just a short drive away, it’s an ideal place to stay for any southern Arizona trip, I recommend staying here! 😄

This place had a ton of problems. None of the electrical worked--there was a tiny solar system with just one dim light for the whole camper. The refrigerator didn't work, and the water system was broken. We weren't told any of this before showing up, and when we asked for a refund it was refused Felt like a scam.

Camper del Desierto
I loved my stay here. The camper was so cozy and adorable inside and out. I loved walking on the grounds and observing all the thoughtful ways these folks are taking care of the land they reside on. I’d love to go back and stay again!

I had such a lovely stay here! The camper is absolutely adorable, well stocked and well maintained. The desert mural on the outside and the retro vibes on the inside add a nice touch. I stayed super comfy and cozy, and met some great people (and animals!) during my stay. It’s inspiring to see all the cool homesteading and building projects happening on this land. It’s also conveniently located right near the grocery store, and a short drive from downtown Bisbee. I would love to stay here again.
