This is a lakeside spot for RV or tent camping (bring your own RV or camping gear). There is a picnic table and a fire pit. Water and solar power are available. When camping there, the private area of surrounding wilderness is about 5 acres. The cleared camp site is 45x75 feet. The property in it's entirety is about 150 acres shared with a lodge and a couple of other sites separated by wilderness and having two lakes. This site has direct access to Marie Lake which is suitable for swimming and play. Renters of the campsite will be given access to Bishop Lake, which can be fished for trout when open and your motorcraft can be used.

It is placed uphill, and you can park vehicles along the path to it, and overflow parking is available near the base. This is an overlooking lakeside spot for small rv or tent camping (bring your own RV or camping gear). There is a picnic table and a fire pit. Water and solar power are available. Outhouse shared with campsite 6. When camping there, the private area of the surrounding wilderness is about 2 acres. The cleared campsite is 50x50 feet. The property in its entirety is about 150 acres shared with a lodge and a couple of other sites separated by wilderness and having two lakes. Renters of the campsite will be given access to Bishop Lake, which can be fished for trout when open, and your motor craft can be used. You will drive to another part of the property to access Bishop Lake.

Great and private camping spot, lots of land right next to the water, lots of firewood and water at easy access, a great place to camp with some amenities and still feel like you’re out camping by yourself with no one else around!

I am a lifelong Alaskan and this is now one of my favorite places to camp. The lake views were beautiful and it was so private it felt like we were alone in the woods. We heard and saw many loons and eagles. The hosts were so nice and hospitable. They had even sprayed the lot with bug repellent and that was a game changer.

It was my first time solo camping, when I pulled up someone was there to greet me and gave me a full run down of the campsite. Incredibly friendly hosts! The site was well maintained and very private. Highly recommend

We loved our stay at Taylor’s campsite. He was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use gis lodge’s outdoor amenities when he didn’t have guests at the lodge. The campsite itself was spacious, well stocked with firewood, and had great lake access. Would definitely recommend tgis to anyone looking to camp in the area.

Beautiful location and close to town. We rented campsite #4. It was a tight fit for our trailer (20Ft) but we managed. I would not recommend any larger travel trailer for this site. The site had access to numerous locations to walk, fish, canoe, and view an eagles nest. We had our small dogs with us and remained cautious of the nature that surrounded us. No doggie snacks for the eagles. The site has an awesome view of the lake. Plenty of sunlight to charge our solar batteries on our trailer. Once again, please do not think you can fit your 24ftr in there safely, it just shouldn't happen. The gound is a bit soft but only because its a fairly new site. Bugs were not that bad but we had our thermacells to keep insects at bay. We did not have to use any spray repellental at all. It is a bit on the spendy side, but seclusion, beauty, and tranquility are guaranteed. We are looking for to seeing The Everson Homestead again.

Great camping spot right on the lake! Perfect location for fishing on the Kenai. Site is catered toward RV camping but we found a couple clear spots to set up our tents and it worked out well.

The campsite was nice and private with a lake view. The outhouse was nice and clean, the host was amazing and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this campsite but do keep in mind that it gets very windy!

Perfect for my large group of 15 people 😃 Great site with so much space and things to explore! With access to 2 lakes and plenty of woods around it feels like a real outdoor Alaskan experience! Hosts were kind and communicated extremely well.

What a beautiful campsite!! It was awesome having the large lot all to ourselves. My two dogs had a blast running wild in the woods! The site was very easy to find and the camp hosts, Jennifer and Paul were very friendly. Jennifer was even nice and brought me a book to read since I had forgotten mine. Paul kept me stocked with wood and I never ran out of drinking water either. Having a private outhouse was really nice too!

Overall the nature and scenery was nice, but unfortunately the gentleman who greeted us was odd, it was not the host himself who was helpful on the app. I think the gentleman was part of the family, but not sure. I will give it a 4/5 rating, he had a fire started for us and the outhouse was nice. It was cold and windy also, but it would be much nicer later in the summer!

Taylor’s property was great! We particularly loved the view and the sounds of nature, as well as the experience of living on private property vs a public campground. It gave us a more “authentic” experience. Taylor’s communication was top notch. This was our first time in Alaska, and he kindly and promptly answered every question we had in a timely manner, from what to do in the area to question about directions that I missed very obviously listed on the guest sentence. He was a great sport about our mishap. I would highly recommended his place to all, and as a bonus there was a clean outhouse, huge new picnic table, lots of firewood and water.

We could not recommend this site more. Beautifully situated overlooking Marie Lake. The dog had easy access to the lake from the site. You do have to go down a small, easily traversed hill. Site was quiet and very private. There was water provided and the nicest outhouse we’ve used in a long time. The hosts were so nice, checked in with us periodically to see if we needed anything, and provided extras like toilet paper and wood. We absolutely loved this special spot, and will certainly be back.
