Horseshoe Bend offers a truly secluded camping experience, perfect for families with children and dogs. Reviews consistently praise the camp's privacy, the close-knit feel of the sites, and the host Brady's helpfulness and hospitality. Campers appreciate the well-maintained hiking trails, the convenience of provided firewood, and the peaceful natural setting rich with wildlife. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention slight discomfort due to the proximity of other campers to facilities.
I was able to be in an isolated location that provided the perfect experience for relaxing and taking in the beautiful location at my campsite. I will definitely be back soon!
Beautiful old growth forest. Very quiet. Just a short hike to the creek. I stayed at the side of the pavillion. Theres a 30amp plug in there and at RV Ridge and RV South!
Excellent place to stay.
Went with my friends and two dogs to have a wonderful time and we did.
I saw a fox, marmots, spiders, a river shrimp and a lot of birds!!
Picnic table, a lot of wood and a very clean portable toilet.
I highly recommend this place.
Brady is always awesome! He is always so accommodating especially towards my kids needs. I always have so many questions when booking. I am always looking for recommendation and he is always so patient. He is very informative what is safe and not safe for the kids. He would let us know which campsite would be best for my kids to play in the creek safely. Thanks Brady for being a great host.
Horseshoe band is an absolutely beautiful place to camp. Each campsite is very private. There is a picnic table, a firing and firewood at each site. It was very peaceful and uncomfortable being here.
Beautiful property. Creekside #1 is a spacious site. We’ve stayed here twice now. I also got to meet Brady and he’s a great host! Offered more firewood if needed. The hiking trails are great and well-maintained/mowed. The various campsites are very spread out and you rarely encounter anyone else unless you’re out for a walk. I highly recommend camping here! We look forward to returning.
5 Stars**. Great spot for a very secluded camping trip. The trails were great to walk thru. Having the firewood provided was a great plus. Thank you Brady for the opportunity and great memories!! We’re gonna be back soon!!
1st lets start with thanking the great Host Brady! The amount of firewood he dropped off at our campsite was fantastic! What a wonderful weekend. The entire area area is very well taken care of, and so peaceful! The views and acess to the bridge and creek was a huge selling point for us!!! If you are a bird watcher/listener, this is a great spot for woodpeckers and blue Indigo 💙 We will be back! Very soon!
We absolutely LOVED staying here! I think we said “we gotta come back here” about 10 times haha. Beautiful scenery, interesting wildlife, and unbelievably well kept! Private and quiet too!!
This was the best place to go to get away from the city, very secluded area in a beautiful, healthy forest. Great place for birdwatching, set up shop underneath a Cooper’s hawk nest without realizing! The provided firewood was so convenient and worked great for cooking and keeping warm. Already planning my next trip.
Such a beautiful and peaceful spot surrounded by nature. Super private, and my dogs had the best time running around freely. Perfect place to relax and unwind.
Beautiful site! The wind rustles the leaves of the tall trees and many brightly colored woodpeckers frequent the space. Off the beaten path, it really is secluded. You are surrounded by trees and lush ground cover. Lovely hiking trails, and enough of them for us to get a little lost at one point. Brady had a large pile of wood waiting for us and brought more when we ran low. We enjoyed sounds of coyotes at night and birds in the morning. Thankful for off-leash policy, our 3 doggos had a marvelous time running and playing. 10/10 will camp here again!
The picture reviews do not do this spot justice with how serene it is. Came out here a weekend with the close friends and had the best time. Recommend x100
Great camping. The trails are well maintained, the sites allow plenty of space and privacy, and free wood is such a bonus! We had a great stay and will be definitely be recommending this location to others.
Brady's land is scenic. There was plenty of room for campers to spread out and have complete privacy, even with RVs. I only stayed one night but would return and stay longer.
Beautiful, private campground! Large campsite gave us adequate space from neighbors so that we had plenty of privacy. Great communication from the owner and property was easy to find with directions. Will definitely return!
My campsite was beautifully kept up and I was surrounded by birdsong the whole time! The creek was terrific for finding tadpoles and listening to the quiet current.
The portapotties were IMMACULATE.
Brady is an EXCELLENT communicator and gave very clear directions. He answered questions swiftly and was very helpful. Beautiful site and a lovely camp.
Was a beautiful peaceful camp site, secluded and away from other campers. Camp site owners were very kind. Directions were clear. So much better then most state parks highly recommend
