Be sure to catch your breath before ascending to this Northeast Georgia favorite! Sitting atop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, two-thousand-feet above sea level, Tallulah River Campground is a swiss army knife of camping appeal; you’ll be just at home charmazing a modestly burnt mushroom as you would be hiking the area’s combing trails. And, located near Moccasin Creek State Park, you can expand your camping odyssey further, should you wish! But, like many other campgrounds in the area, Tallulah River Campground is on a FCFS (first-come, first-served basis)—so plan accordingly.
