Tucked into the high desert just outside Grand Canyon National Park, Ruby Raven has found her summer home. Like a desert bird, she migrates - this season settling among juniper trees, cooler air, and open skies as far as the eye can see. Come stay on this private 5-acre property and immerse yourself in nature!Escape to a colorful vintage camper set on its own private acre beneath wide-open Arizona skies. Ruby Raven is a lovingly renovated camper tucked into the quiet high desert near the Grand Canyon. This is a stay for those craving something a little different - creative, peaceful, and just a touch magical. You’ll have peaceful seclusion with distant mountain views and endless horizon in every direction. Ruby comfortably sleeps 2 guests. A private outhouse with a compost toilet is located just outside the camper. Inside, you’ll find a cozy bed with freshly laundered linens, vibrant hand-painted cabinets, a sunny dining nook, and a tea and coffee station. You might spot elk moving through the trees, hear coyotes calling across the open land, or catch a glimpse of hawks riding the wind overhead. This area is known for its incredibly dark skies, making it ideal for stargazing. This experience is a blend of camping and glamping. We are off-the-grid meaning NO running water or electricity - so please remember to bring all the food and water you will need for the duration of your stay. The camper is set up with 1 overhead lamp and 1 bedside lamp, to keep the evenings illuminated. However it does not have any charging ports for anything, so please bring your own charging/solar stations if needed. We know pets are part of the adventure, and they’re very welcome at Ruby Raven 🐾 To help keep everything clean and comfortable, pets aren’t allowed on the furniture unless you bring and use a clean pet you bring and use your own clean pet blanket. There is a small $15 pet fee per stay, which helps us cover the extra care needed between guests. We just ask that all pet waste be picked up and that the space is left tidy and free of excess hair or mess. If additional cleaning is required, an extra fee may be applied.
