Where we go grocery shopping in the woods during the fall. Where "neighbors" might live two hours away or just down the road. Where directions are given in "north and south" instead of "right and left". Life's a little slower, people a little more sincere and a handshake still means something! PLEASE READ: IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TENT CAMPING: I don't have any shower or bathroom facilities. The closest place I know of is the Conoco a mile north of my place on Cleveland St. They have a truck stop and I'm told the shower is nice. There is a chance I won't be on site to greet you, but so far everyone has been incredibly respectful and found some great places to put up a tent. I trust you!

Victoria is so welcoming and kind; she was always available for any questions and made sure to welcome us in person. She also took the time to say farewell in person when we were leaving. They had everything you need to to relax, cook, and enjoy nature. We also had great neighbors that joined for a fire at night and swapped stories while enjoying the evening. Kind responsive host with a very well kept campground. Noise from the road is loud but it was fine for an over night stop. Showers and bathrooms were super clean (with quality toilet paper). Sinks outside, bring soap and a towel to dry your hands. Tent site area is a pretty open field that you just find a good spot and set up. There was no one else there when we were there so other than the road it was quiet. Would be great for a group!
