Great base camp for exploring Devil’s Tower! We stayed overnight and explored the tower the following day. We stayed up top where there was electrical available. We were in a big field which our dogs loved. The tent sites down below looked lovely. Nice trees all around. We were very happy to arrive, as it was late & we were exhausted! Thank you, Victoria!

The campground host was waiting for us upon our arrival. She was very friendly and helpful. After showing us our site and going over the campground policies she wished us a wonderful stay. The campground was very quiet and peaceful.

Nice, shaded campsites with grass based tent sites (I like grass sites better than gravel or sand). Shower house and bathrooms are well maintained and clean. Conveniently located near Devil's Tower and just far enough removed to feel peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this campground for anyone looking to camp near Devil's Tower! Hopefully we will have the opportunity to camp here again the next time we are in the area

Beautiful and Welcoming

This was our second visit to Screaming Eagle - such a beautiful site! The upper area has been developed wonderfully for RV’s. Victoria is so welcoming and kind; she was always available for any questions and made sure to welcome us in person. She also took the time to say farewell in person when we were leaving. Highly recommend this peaceful campsite with plenty of trees, deer and clean facilities.

Kind responsive host with a very well kept campground. Noise from the road is loud but it was fine for an over night stop. Showers and bathrooms were super clean (with quality toilet paper). Sinks outside, bring soap and a towel to dry your hands. Tent site area is a pretty open field that you just find a good spot and set up. There was no one else there when we were there so other than the road it was quiet. Would be great for a group!

The site was clean and communication was incredible. We got in late and left early but it was exactly what we needed. I love that you could pick where you set up and we lucked out with a lot of space due to it being a weekday. I highly recommend!

Highly recommend Screaming Eagle Campground: very clean bathrooms and showers, hot showers, clean campgrounds with nice grass grounds, and plenty of shade from mature trees. Host is also a great communicator and vey responsive.

Nice RV camping site! Victoria was an excellent host with great communication every step of the way, always making sure everyone was comfortable. The campsite is in a nice location, just 10 miles from Mato Tipila (Devils Tower)

Great site in a great location. Compared to other sites I looked at, this location was the best for getting breakfast, and sleeping in the shade. Shower and restroom facilities were clean and in good shape.

Beautiful shaded spot for camping. Screaming Eagle is located at a busy intersection from about 5am-8pm. The shower house and bathrooms are clean. The sinks are outside the building, no hand soap provided. There are no cooking amenities or even a fire pit to cook on.

Shady spots galore

We stayed at an RV site in the front corner next to a busy intersection. There was a lot of road noise until 8pm and it started about 5am. If you are a light sleeper it could be a problem. The shower shack has 4 shower stalls and the toilet shack has 2 toilets. The sinks to wash your hands are on the outside of the shower house and no soap is provided. There is a lot of shade and it is very pretty. Some of the tree branches were low and caused issues with the height of our RV. The trees can be tricky to navigate around. If you travel with a teenager that likes to sleep in a tent instead of RV be prepared to pay extra for a tent sight. We have not run into this issue at other sites.

Great place to stay! Well kept up and clean, nice and green for camping. Close to the road which was convenient, but not a lot of traffic so it was quiet. We definitely will stay here again!

Screaming Eagle a peaceful respite

Victoria is the consummate hostess! She greeted me and when I left delivered a one of a kind sour dough loaf. She is a part of the land, 4th generation Wyomingite. She shared an amazing narrative you wouldn't find in any books. The park is perfect and just a short ride to Devil’s Peak. As for me I know I'll be back. Check it out!

Trees, shade and space!

Beautiful wooded park-like setting. We camped in the lower campground, in the RV site with 30-amp electric. Showers and bathrooms were clean. We were only 9 miles from Bear Lodge/Devils Tower. Although we were at an intersection, it was quiet at night. Very pleasant stay and friendly owner!

What a beautiful camping spot! We would definitely stay here again if in the area. It was clean and safe and very well kept. It’s walking distance from the small town. It is on the main road but with all of the trees and lack of traffic, this was no issue at all! Highly recommend!
