We had a very lovely stay at Margaret's property, the area is gorgeous and we loved being close to the horses! Our Great Dane loved it too! We didn’t get a chance to meet the host but we did meet Suzanne who also lives on site and she is wonderful! She’s a guide in Yellowstone and works in town. We definitely hope to stay here again next time we pass through Cody and hopefully for more than one night!

This was the perfect place to stay. Loren and his wife were so nice and helpful. They also have a clubhouse for guests to use. Although, we didn’t use it, it had so many amenities. A restroom, shower, kitchen, and laundry room. They were also willing to help with any questions we had. I recommend this place to anyone.

Sandy and Jerry were excellent hosts and their property is beautiful! The setting along the river is very peaceful. Water on one side and mountains all around. They were very accommodating and had plenty of local suggestions. We were greeted upon our arrival and offered a hand with anything we needed. Very flexible with where we could park in the yard. Even offered use of their bathroom if we needed to. This was our first time using hipcamp and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Sandy and Jerry for all of your wonderful hospitality!!

We had a lovely couple of nights at this property. The cabin was clean & comfortable with quiet surroundings. The yard is beautiful & spacious, perfect for our dogs to roam about. The kitchen is well equipped, and we were very grateful for the opportunity to do laundry. Proximity to both the mountains & the canyon was a huge perk.

Margaret, a.k.a. Jersey, provided a very welcoming environment as did two of her three dogs. The third was in training, so no foul there. However, there were other fowls - chickens and turkeys. Also, Alice, a llama or alpaca, I couldn’t tell from her sweater as she was recently shorn. Also horses and a cow.. All were well behaved and didn’t moo, whinny, cheep, cluck, gobble, or do whatever llama-alpacas do too early so I was able to get a good night sleep and see a lot of stars through my moon roof.

When we arrived the setting was more than we could have hoped for -riverfront, serene and relaxing. The family labs were an additional perk!
Sandy and Jerry were welcoming hosts, shared their love for the area and told us so much about the local history.
Location was great for easy drive to Yellowstone and Cody Wyoming.
The reservation process was smooth and owner responsive to all questions. A "10 out of 10" for sure!

We loved full hookup camping at riverside private campsite! Utilities are positioned so RV can be oriented to site along side and facing river. Had 3 bars on phone service. We traveled 30 minutes to visit Cody one day, 25 minutes another day to visit Red Lodge, and also took the scenic Beartooth and Chief Joseph scenic highways. Roads are very easy and fast to drive to areas noted. This campsite was absolutely beautiful with the friendliest, amazing hosts. They are so willing to provide information etc… or leave you to yourself if you want. We loved visiting with them and will absolutely be back. They do work during day. It looks like you are close to house but site is very private. There are pig races down the road at the Bearcreek steak house (15 minute drive). We saw lots of birds on the river and the hosts say fishing is amazing.

Camping on Jersey's property was so nice. She was a great host. She has great animals, i.e. dogs and horses who all love getting petted and a spunky Llama. Getting on and off the property was super easy. The views were wonderful.

I loved camping on Loren's land! We came from Yellowstone on our way to Devils tower and mount Rushmore. Its a great halfway point! The land is beautiful. 6 RV spots and they have space for tent camping. Came in a campervan. The provided electricity and water hook up. They have a clubhouse with WIFI, bathroom, shower and a kitchen. Being on the road for a few day this was a great change of pace for us! Very dog friendly, they have two dogs themselves super sweet pups and loves to play ball! Very peaceful overall! 5 out 5 stars from us! Great host!
