We are a bit off the beaten path but if you enjoy nature like we do, Camp Barlow is the perfect spot for you. There are scenic views whichever way you look, and on a clear night the stars are incredible. Devils Tower is only 15 minutes away! Come on over and enjoy our little slice of bliss.
Here at Nuckolls Ranch Inc., we primarily manage grass, cattle and sheep. We are a 4th generation ranch with focus on holistic sustainability. Here you will find abundant trees, grass, wildlife and peaceful scenery. If you are interested in hiking, there is 75 acres in the campground boundary. You're welcome to explore the whole area!

This is a working cattle ranch, owned by our family for 4 generations. It’s located on clear creek and a historical route used to trail cattle to the nearby railroad to load on the trains.

There are multiple spots to pick for pitching a tent. Decide if you’d like to camp on the banks of clear creek or on a top of a hill with a view.
If you’re pulling a camper or driving an RV there are 2 easily accessible locations with access to power. Locations are near Clear Creek so you can enjoy playing in the water or take a hike through a pasture.
There is a cafe and bar just 4 miles up the road. They also offer shower and laundry services.
We are a real working cattle ranch and there is local wildlife to view.

My daughter and I tent camped at Christine's for 4 nights. We appreciated being right on the river and the privacy of the site. We didn't need anything but Christine was very willing to accommodate any needs we had.

Cute lil cabin. Given it's on a working ranch, I thought it'd be a bit cleaner - lots of dead moths inside. Land and sunset were gorgeous. the owners were super nice and the homemade lemon Greek yogurt and beef jerky were absolutely delicious.

Camp Barlow was perfect! Nice area with plenty of space at each camp spot. Not your ordinary porta potty! Stocked with TP and paper towels and water was a nice surprise. Several deer came around, we heard turkeys in the area and in the early morning hour we were serenaded by a what I assume were coyotes. Felt safe and the view was beautiful.

Lovely hipcamp! The sites were mowed and well maintained, nice little trails up the hills with pretty views, clean port-a-potty, and great location close to Devil’s Tower. Would definitely stay here again!

We spent three nights in this beautiful Hipcamp and absolutely loved it. It’s quiet and feels remote, but only a short distance to Devil’s Tower. Highly recommended!

We loved this location. It was very private and quiet. We were the only ones there the first night. The second night, there was one other group and they were respectful, kind, and quiet. The stars were GORGEOUS! We saw a lot of birds. There is not much shade at the sites themselves which we expected and were prepared for. It did not bother us. The bathroom was clean. They provided firewood for us. The owners were kind and helpful. They reached out to let us know they would be mowing the grass before we arrived. Highly recommend to those who love to be in the quiet, remote nature, and who love to stargaze.

We stayed here for just one night so we would be close to Devil's Tower. There was only one other site occupied and we barely knew they were there. The sites are nicely spaced apart. Site C is fairly level front to back, but we had to use blocks to get it level side to side. It's also a little short but we just parked at an angle. Our trailer is 20 ft. and so is our truck. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I loved being on this ranch and experiencing the wide-open places and solitude. The sunsets were beautiful and it was fun interacting with the animals. The skyline and mountains make for a relaxing evening. I especially recommend staying on the lower side near the stream.

Wow this site is such a hidden gem! Absolutely stunning scenery and a very well kept small campground. For how close this is to Devils Tower, we were surprised to be the only campers there during summer camping season. Not that I’ll complain because we enjoyed the solitude and peace, and the space for our reactive dog. There is a well maintained port-a-potty, trash bins, water pump, and picnic tables at the sites. There are also mowed trails leading up the hills which we really enjoyed. Directions from the host were accurate and the site was easy to find. We would love to stay here again when we are next in the area!

Absolutely stunning campsite!
We had the place all to ourselves last night and it was the most peaceful evening I’ve ever had! We had no phone service so spent the evening reading and watching movies on our iPad outside, watching the sun set. Such a serene place, would love to come back here.
