Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature? Me too, after 10-plus years of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you into our ecosystem.

What a cozy, snowy retreat at the G Farm. I was looking for picturesque solitude and I got it!
The tiny house was perfect for just me and my watercolor paints. The space heater kept me plenty warm even though it seems that we are actually having a proper winter this year in Wisconsin. Comfy, cozy, and very private.

I loved camping here. It is a very safe and private camping experience with cozy accommodations and a beautiful view. The golden hour over the pond was spectacular. I took many naps and enjoyed my solitude.

Weekend Trip to The G Farm
I had a great time at their farm. The cabin is perfect for one or two campers and there’s plenty of room for another tent or two as well. There’s a good size fire pit and a couple different docks to enjoy the view of the pond. There’s also canoes and a paddle boat for use with life jackets available as well. They have everything you need available, and a great farm store for any food you might have forgotten to pack. They encourage you to roam around the property and there’s a lot of great stuff to see. I think it’s really great that they were able to set this piece of their property aside to share with anyone trying to get away for some peace and relaxation. They’re also doing some really great restorative work on the land that’s interesting to hear about. I loved my weekend here and I’ll definitely be back again!

It was a wonderful stay. this place is picture perfect, has to be one of the best places we visited so far. Though they could have maintained the toilet better, glad that there is a kwik trip 5mins away lol!

It was pretty cool. The directions were clear and the dogs were friendly! The tiny house was perfect; a little warm in the middle of summer but what else is new. The pond activities were plentiful and the animals were a nice break from city life.

Fun spot, cute little tiny house with bunk beds! If you're planning to bring a pop up you can just barely pull in and turn around. Pulled my Escapade summit square drop trailer in but it was a TIGHT fit. If you're trailer is wider than 90" like mine you may not get it pulled in. The dogs are nice and the chicken coop is close so you'll hear the roosters in the AM. The kids loved it!

Justin and his family are excellent hosts. He took us around on a farm tour, explained the inner workings of the farm and we got to collect eggs in the morning for breakfast.
We’ve been coming here annually for almost four years and have a ball every time we come.
The campsite is private, secluded, beautiful and serene. It is kept clean and well maintained.

Weekend Trip to The G Farm
My husband and I camped at Justin's site during the memorial day weekend. We immediately went straight to the incredibly charming Farm Store and purchased sausage and duck eggs. We continued on toward the camp site and quickly fell in love as we passed cows, chickens, and pigs. We made our way to the camp site adorned with a sparkling, serene private lake. We enjoyed the paddleboat (multiple times), while listening to the sounds of the farm animals and soaking in the sun. Justin and his delightful family even gave us a tour of the farm, and we got a chance to hold the baby chicks and meet the baby cow! We appreciated the little house, allowing us to "camp" without the extra work of camping! We used the hot plate provided to cook up the sausage, and our taste buds danced - the best sausage we've ever eaten. We enjoyed the other amenities as well including the hammock, and the fire pit! This stay was a special treat, and we will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to The G Farm
One of my all-time favorite Hipcamp stays. This was my first time visiting Wisconsin and I knew as soon as I found this farm that it would be the perfect place to stay. It exceeded all expectations. The property is even more beautiful in person with lush greenery and peaceful views in every direction.
I loved spending my mornings walking around and visiting the farm animals like chickens, ducks, pigs, and cows. Their two dogs and three cats were the friendliest companions. The Great Pyrenees stayed by my cabin most of the time and loved getting all the pets. The red cattle dog followed me around while I explored the farm.
One of the highlights was seeing a newborn calf being fed in the barn. It was such a special experience and I really enjoyed learning more about the farm and the animals.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay. It was absolutely perfect.

This was such a great farm camping experience! We enjoyed using the paddle board to go out on the pond, picking out and cooking fresh eggs, and staying cozy in the little house! The host was very friendly and the dogs kept us company. Loved watching the ducks waddle down to the pond in the morning! I can’t wait to come back soon!

I had a wonderful experience at G Farm! Justin, his wife, and their daughters were incredibly kind and welcoming. It felt like staying with friends. Their dogs were just as friendly and added to the cozy, laid-back vibe. The cabin was adorable, spotless, and situated right by the water, making it the perfect peaceful retreat. Even the outhouse was impressively clean (especially for an outhouse!). While the property is near the highway, I hardly noticed it once I settled in. Unfortunately, I had to cut my stay short due to an emergency back home, but I can confidently say this place is a hidden gem. Absolutely worth the value and ideal for solo travelers. I’d love to return someday and stay longer!
