The property itself was first settled by a man named Mayford Jones, who set the first stones here around 1910. A Jenny Lynn style farmhouse was built and the property was known as one of the best developed farms in the area. This is a 12.5 acre mini farm. We have a garden, bee hive, 30 fruit trees, bamboo, hard wood trees, 4 wheeler trails, a pig, guinea fowl, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats, and dogs. We are working on a site for a single meat cow too! We have 2 sites, 1 is a trailer and 1 is a camping spot/cabin on top of our mountain. The cabin up there was built in the 60-70’s probably and is a total mess. People are welcome to stay in it if they choose. There is plenty of area for multiple tents near the cabin. The trailer is a basic 1990’s trailer. Everything works in it. There is a furnace, 2 full size beds, a full kitchen and bath. There is a window AC for hot days.

This is a 12.5 acre mini farm. We have a garden, bee hive, 30 fruit trees, bamboo, hard wood trees, 4 wheeler trails, a pig, guinea fowl, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats, and dogs. We are working on a site for a single meat cow too! We have 2 sites, 1 is a trailer and 1 is a camping spot/cabin on top of our mountain. The cabin up there was built in the 60-70’s probably and is a total mess. People are welcome to stay in it if they choose. There is plenty of area for multiple tents near the cabin. The trailer is a basic 1990’s trailer. Everything works in it. There is a furnace, 2 full size beds, a full kitchen and bath. There is a window AC for hot days.

Absolutely love this place! I stayed on a Saturday in November, it was quiet so I can’t speak to busy periods. It’s a beautiful mixed camping space, uniquely designed with cool amenities everywhere from goats, libations, and food to bike rentals and a bike track. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, remote enough yet close enough to dining and the local town. It’s a gorgeous property with amenities and touches that most campgrounds can’t offer. I slept soundly beneath the stars, woke early, walked along the goats and enjoyed a warm shower in a warm bathroom. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the spring!

Excellent place to stay. I rented an RV pad close to the bathhouse for a chilly couple of days and it was clutch. The Bike Farm has everything you need; including firewood, a bar/restaurant, a bike shop and GOATS. It's also conveniently located near the town of Fayetteville and less than 5 minutes from the Bridge. Excellent stay during the down season.

We enjoyed our stay at the bikefarm. I honestly did not know what to expect as we never stayed nor heard of a bikefarm before. The location was perfect and super close to the Long Point Trail Head, New River Gorge National Park, and Fayetteville. The shower/bath house was clean and a short walk from the site. Very peaceful. We felt safe. The bike park was cute, but the goats on the property were even cuter! We would definitely come back here.

I enjoyed a short stay in one of the RV slots available and LOVED IT. The staff were all kind, super helpful, and available when needed. I will be mostly traveling solo and as a female, I know I would feel 100% safe and comfortable here. Plus, there are goats that enjoy being pet like dogs, awesome trails literal steps from my campsite, a restaurant with the best brisket, brats, burgers, and beers, and bathhouses (with heat!!). Nevermind the fact that you’re wicked close to the little town of Fayetteville but still feel surrounded by nature and all the goodness of the New River Gorge. I would imagine this place is even better if you’re a biker (mountain/trail) but I didn’t feel out of place not being into that. This one is going on my list of places to return to for a longer stay and should definitely be on your list of spots to check out!

The cabin as your night time ambiance is great for any dark enthusiast. 4 German Shepherds for those lovers of the breed. Having the turkey as your white noice was a great experience. My wife and I were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway to celebrate our Anniversary and stumbled upon the Glamping Farm's Vidalia 1. It was an excellent choice. Josette and Steve were excellent hosts and had everything set up for us upon our arrival including preheating the "cowboy hot-tub". Site is as described, and pictures accurate. An extremely comfortable/luxurious camping experience. So much attention to small details by the hosts! There is an abundance of outdoor activities and sites worth seeing, plenty within a 15 minute to half hour drive. We had 4 deer visit in the pasture on the opposite side of the road and the one morning snuck in along the road while we soaked in the hot tub. You can bring your well behaved pup with too!

Field camping was fairly priced. It was fun to see the goats and the outdoor communal area for the restaurant was very cute. There were a lot of dogs barking throughout the night from other nearby houses, but otherwise it was a beautiful and relaxing stay!

The campsite was in a beautiful location and well-equipped. The flowers on the picnic table were a lovely touch. A rain storm came through a few hours after our arrival and Stacey offered us a dry place to wait out the storm (thankfully we were snug in our tent by then but appreciated the offer)! Wish we could have camped another night but would definitely stay at Stacey's campsite again when in the area!
