I can provide info on put in/take out spots depending on how long you'd like to float. I have 3 kayaks available for your use, or BYO if you'd like to venture further outside of the property lines. There is one big fire ring for cooking and/or bonfires, along with a large stationary stand up charcoal camp grill. There is also a small communal shed down at camp that contains extra camping supplies, etc.. feel free to use use and put back and or/ contribute to it! :) This spot is close by to Berkeley Springs, Paw Paw Tunnel, Cacapon State Park, and other nature preserves. More hiking, biking, restaurants, spas, antiquing- all within a beautiful 20 minute drive if you wish to venture out. There is a cabin on the property. Sometimes I"ll come down to the river frontage if I drop in for a float .Also, we all get around on four wheelers and UTV's. So you will hear them from time to time. Learn more about this land: Unplug from the world and recharge your body and mind. The rustic cabin has no electric but has solar lights inside and one outside. No running water, we will have two 5 gallon jugs of water at cabin. Sleeps up to 5 people. Has a full bed with linens provided in the bedroom. Also a full air mattress, and a cot size mattress in the loft. (Bring sleeping bags or linens for these beds.) Pillows are provided. The loft is not suitable for young children. Has a solar bag shower outside in season. Compost bucket in the bathroom. MUST HAVE A ALL WHEEL DRIVE or 4 X 4 VEHICLE, or could hike up to the cabin. The rode is steep in places. Behind a locked gate. We will meet and take you to cabin. You will be given a key to use. Cabin is .8 of a mile off of Jordan Run Rd. and is around 5 miles to the entrance of forest rd 75 and 2 1/2 miles to entrance of forest rd 19. Has beautiful mountain views from above cabin (see pictures). Can see the top of dolly sods from cabin. Has a propane wall heater and wood stove for chilly nights. Fire wood is provided. You can hike or bike on roads on the property. In the winter if there was snow you could bring snowshoes and hike up to cabin and if you had skis you could ski back off to your vehicle or could cross country ski on one of the roads on the property. Cabin is 15 to 20 minutes from Seneca Rocks, Smoke Hole caverns is 8 to 10 minutes, Canaan and Timberline ski resorts are 45 to 55 minutes away. Local streams are stocked with trout. The place was absolutely spotless, not even a spec of dust anywhere to be found. There were so many amenities that we did not get around to using them all. The host was extremely affable and respectful , which made for a very pleasant atmosphere. The detailed guide with pictures about all the nearby attractions was a very useful and heartfelt touch, my sincere thanks to Steve's wife. My expectations were not just met but exceeded in all departments so, I would rate my experience more than 5 stars. I hope to come back soon to further explore the trails.

1 night at Camp Holly

So calming and a good place to sleep! We were just spending the night but would be a great place to spend a weekend. Sweet cats greet you, also ducks and chickens. Fridge, microwave, and coffee pot available. Enclosed bathroom with shower and toilet inside. Great little diner down the road! Just be advised there is no signal there or the surrounding area. The wifi works well for the TV but not great for cellphones.

Had a fantastic time! Amazing value for the money. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Loved having a kitchen, shower, private bathroom, fire pit, outdoor propane grill, plenty of outdoor seating and a nice bed in a heated RV all for less than some local campgrounds charge for an empty cabin with no amenities. Steve is a great host as well. Checked in via messages to see if we needed anything, made sure we were comfortable despite the weather getting near freezing at night, then left us to ourselves to enjoy our weekend. It was the perfect retreat away from the city. Crisp Fall nights, starry skies and a crackling campfire. It doesn’t get any better than that!

My friends and I had a great time at Cabin 3! The hosts were quick to respond to our inquiries, and the staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin can comfortably fit more than four people and still has plenty of space to move around. Both the indoor and outdoor bathrooms were clean. It’s the best place to relax, unwind, and enjoy good company. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect stay, and the hosts were so considerate! A space heater was on when I arrived, and the fire pit area was thoughtfully set up with all the supplies you need like split wood, kindling, and paper. So much more was provided, and we really appreciated it. My only tip - if you’re quite tall…maybe 5’10 or 5’11+, the sleeping areas might be cramped. But it was perfect for me at 5’4-5’5. The twin beds are a bit longer. Stella and Sinatra are the sweetest farm dogs too.

The cabin was amazing and had everything and more! There were games, kitchen supplies, grill with a stove, and they provide firewood. Since we went in October we had a heated blanket and there was a space heater in there as well. Berkeley Springs is close by and they have nice restaurants and a farmers market on Sundays. Definitely will be going back!

Kara’s property is a lovely getaway in the woods. It has all the amenities you may need, and a little extra-like the very nice hot shower. If you are down at the campsite on the river, you have river views all the time, if you are up at the top, you can simply walk down and get a great view. Would stay again! The glamping option was very nice for when it started to pour down rain. We hung out, played games and still had a great time! Kara‘s instructions were clear and very helpful.
