4 nights at EJT Retreat

The drive up to the cabin was a bit tricky. I was a little worried the first time up the hill in the car. But let me tell you, once we were up the hill, it was our little place of solitude for the week. The pond was my daughter’s favorite! So many frog and toad sounds at night. So fun. Fire pit and hot tub were also a huge bonus. The bed was very nice, we didn’t attempt to raise it at all; we just left it for our trip but it was the perfect little cabin for us. Esther was extremely attentive with anything I needed during our stay or any questions I had. Brent even surprised us with some fire wood one day. They were very thoughtful! We would absolutely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Rustic Treehouse In Hocking Hills

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Rustic Treehouse. We spent the long holiday weekend enjoying the hot tub, Blackstone griddle, fire pit, pickle ball court, and just hanging out inside streaming a movie on the 100" projection screen. Communication with Jenni was always pleasant, and she quickly responded to any questions that I had. The place was very clean and cozy. I highly recommend staying here.

This was a great campground!! The cleanest bathrooms and most wonderful showers that I've seen at a campground. The wagon was cute and cozy and fun!

It was a really nice place and they were really chill. I just pulled up to my site, and nobody bothered me all night it was quite nice to have the solitude and nice to feel trusted as well. A feeling you don’t get often

Amazingly beautiful location! The waterfall and cove area was a short hike away from the main house, and is totally worth going to even when it's just a trickle. There are a lot of carpenter bees and wasps living in the treehouse, but no one got stung and we coexisted well. Just something to think about if you are afraid of flying, stinging insects. The shower in the bathhouse is great, and the camping toilet worked well enough. Rob is a great host! He was communicative and always answered our questions quickly. The farm dogs are friendly and adorable, but will rush your car to greet you which might be overwhelming to some dogs. Totally would recommend staying here overall.

2 nights at EJT Retreat

Esther’s land was beautiful and super peaceful. Hot tub and pond was great and the cabin was fully stocked with everything we need. There was a weird noise that sounded like a knock, but I inspected and nobody was there. Unsure about it but I read a couple other reviews that said the same thing. Still, it didn’t detract from the awesome time me and my wife had!! Esther was super sweet to refund us a night as well because we decided to head home early. 10/10 we will definitely stay again.

2 nights at The Wild Pines Of Ohio

Tom and Melissa are great hosts. Our stay was refreshing, peaceful, and just what we needed! We especially loved the secluded site with its beautiful surroundings and comfy accommodations. Many thanks!!!

2 nights at EJT Retreat

About a 40min drive from Hocking Hills Sate Park it was quiet peaceful retreat. The swimming pond, much more a pond than a pool but we all jumped in and had a blast. Not safe for toddlers because it has no gate. New hot tube was clean and hot, we really enjoyed it after a long day hiking. The cabin is still a little bit of a work in progress but had everything we needed (Except for firewood, but start driving a little and you’ll find someone selling it on the side of the road). A few bugs in the cabin but your in nature, to be expected. Overall great price, just what we were looking for, we’d come back.

I stopped in at Hilltop for one night with my pup along a road trip and we had a great time. The tent was super cute and cozy. Loved the little porch. Very clean bathroom facilities too. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely come back!

All around wonderful experience! The tree house was so much fun and has a very nice spot to relax underneath! The puppies are very good company as well!

2 nights at Rustic Treehouse In Hocking Hills

Totally as advertised! Charming, complete, convenient, and super unique. Our small family loved our stay here. Our 4 year old loved watching movies in the suspended net, we enjoyed the hot tub late night, and we were minutes from town or some of our favorite hikes. Can’t wait to come back!

4 nights at WALKAbOUT Creek Campground

We had a great experience staying at Bear Cabin! We had to find something semi last minute in the area, and this was such a hidden gem! Far enough away from town to feel like you are in the middle of the woods but close enough that you don't have to drive too far for groceries. Cabin was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Area around the cabin was very spacious and we had plenty of room for the kids to run around. Walkabout also had numerous things that anyone can use, including an arcade, to keep us busy no matter the weather. The only downside was not being able to drive up to the cabin, however they did provide a wagon they we could use to take trips back and forth. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Hilltop Resorts and Campgrounds

The campground isn’t an excellent location in Logan Ohio. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Hocking Hills trails. We like that there was a little bit of a walking trail area in the campground and that we could rent canoes there. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Karin. They are very accommodating and easy to work with. The kids loved the playground and the bouncy pad and the mini golf. The campground was clean and quiet. We all had a great time.

My family had a great time here! The playground could use some updating and I wish the grounds were a bit more level for chairs by the fire but all in all, great place to stay.

2 nights at Bunny Bungalow Secluded Geodome

We loved the geo dome. It was our first experience staying in one. The space had everything, including wine/chocolates waiting for us. The space was very cozy and clean. We stayed for 2 nights, enjoyed the view from inside. There is a wonderful hot tub which we loved after a long hike at near by Hocking Hills State Park. I would highly recommend coming and staying at this unique and romantic site. Brent was an excellent host. It was as though we were in a 5 star hotel. He thought of everything and it is decorated so cute!

They made sure we had everything that we needed and we had the pleasure of talking to them multiple times during our stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my boyfriend’s birthday. 5 Leaf Farm

This area was known by the Native Americans as "Pocatalico" (land of the fat doe), and first settled by Europeans around 1890. The property itself was first settled by a man named Mayford Jones, who set the first stones here around 1910. A Jenny Lynn style farmhouse was built and the property was known as one of the best developed farms in the area. Today, the forest has returned to what was once pasture land on the majority of the 100 acre plot, and a small but intensive sustainable forest farm has been taking shape since 2013 under the current host and occupant, who prefers the term "steward" rather than "owner".

We are constantly upgrading our property and completing projects to help improve our beautiful piece of land. It started with some simple property cleanup, clearing brush, fixing broken structures, and adding stone for instant transformations. Our goal is to offer our community a local place to visit and enjoy themselves, the great outdoors, fishing, pedal boating, and sitting around a campfire.
