In summer of 2020 we expanded into raising hops and focus on making our property hospitable to helping the honeybee population. We raise chickens, goats, and hops. Honeybees coming soon.Car Camping: This site is ideal for someone wanting to camp close to their vehicle. We recommend a 4wd or higher clearance vehicles. Feel free to set your tent up anywhere in the area you choose close to the road. See the map included in the pictures for further information. A tent deck is coming soon. There is a portable fire place hanging on the tree; feel free to place it wherever is convenient for you. Please hang it back up before leaving.The outhouse is shared with our Wooded Camp SitePlease do not cut any trees or saplings; however, feel free to pick up the fallen timber for firewood. There is a pile of falling wood you are welcome to cut from. There is a saw in the outhouse; please return when you are done with it.We offer free farm fresh eggs to all campers; let us know if you would like 6 or 12.

Apple Blossom Campsite is on 8 acres of quiet and private land with stunning views. Each camp site offers a picnic table, fire ring with grill. There is a port-a-potty on site.
Above the campsite, you'll find a beautiful area with lights in the trees, a picnic table, and propane grill. A great spot to hang out and enjoy nature!
The campsite is located in a field surrounded by woods on either side of our property. It is a beautiful and serene area with an abundance of wildlife roaming through the property at any given time
We are located just a couple of miles from both Deep Creek Lake and the Wisp Resort. Youghiogheny River put-in is less than 5 minutes away, along with Sang Run State Park and the historic Friend's Store
There is an abundance of hiking, fishing, kayaking, boating, and more within minutes of the camp site. It's a wonderful place for exploration or to just kick back and relax!

1. Food: Our campground offers a serene escape, to help you get to your "escape with less stress we offer a cooler of food upon your request! Our Chef will do the shopping and have it ready for you! We will cater to what you would like to eat and dietary needs. You will be responsible for the price of food plus delivery charge of $25. *Please order 24hrs prior to your arrival.
2.Dogs A- Permitted on Leash: We understand that many campers enjoy bringing their furry babies along for the adventure. Dogs are welcome at our campground, but they must be on a leash or a run. The fields have some groundhog holes, and we would be devastated if your dog was running and broke a leg if a leg slipped in a hole. We just want them safe.
B- Awww poop! Alot of people use the camping area as a barefoot area so please clean up their poop.
3. Quiet time after 10PM: This just means no screaming. Play your guitar and sing until the sun rises if that makes you happy.
4. Alcohol: We would prefer you skip the drinks and just get high, but if your soul needs a drink please drink responsibly. (Don't be that guy)
5. $150 per night for up to 4 campers an extra $35pp after the 4th person

All Ferns Most of the Time

This spot is best for a van camp location but plenty of space for tents and hammocks. You'll find a drive-up deck if you wish to park there. Firewood is available providing you use downfalls as kindling in the stone fire pit. A 8x20' deck and picnic table are 20 feet from the fire for stargazing. When the ferns are full grown they are 3 feet tall and everywhere. A 10 minute walk takes you through a dense pine forest with large rock formations and a nice creek with many gurgling fall areas. If there looks like a cave amongst the large rocks, then it probably is a bear den.
There is a lot to do near by. Some note worthy locations :
Cranberry Glade Lake (good for kayaking or fishing), Ohiopyle, 7 Springs, Fallingwater, Living Treasures, Caddie Shak, and Hidden Valley are all about 25 minutes away. This property also borders Laurel Ridge State Park.
There is a Dollar General and a gas station about 15 minutes away for convenience needs.

Deep Creek Lake- Meshach's Stompin Grounds Campsite
This a a five acre property located in the woods 2.5 miles from the entrance to the Wisp Ski area and the marinas at Deep Creek Lake. There are hiking trails and a stream on the property with an abundance of wildlife, deer, rabbits, fox, an occasional bear, and a few lucky chipmunks and squirrels. The campsite offers electric hookup (20, 30, 50 amp service), WiFi, picnic table and fire ring. The campsite is located adjacent to the home on the property and has paved access. For your safety, Ring Cameras make video and audio recordings around the property.

Wild Yough is located in Southern Garrett County, Maryland very close to Herrington Manor State Park, Swallows Falls State Park, and the quaint mountain village of Oakland. The property adjoins thousands of acres of Garrett State Forest and hundreds of acres of state land along the Youghiogheny River. The world class Wisp resort and Deep Creek Lake are only minutes away. “Yough” is short for Youghiogheny River a state designated wild and scenic river which runs through the heart of the property. Wild Yough Glamping huts are part of more than 350 acres of private land, most of which is crisscrossed with hiking and biking trails. Youghiogheny is an Algonquin word meaning “a stream flowing in a contrary direction”, or in the case of the Yough, North toward Ohio Pyle and Pittsburgh. This section of the river is designated as a protected scenic corridor and you will feel the quiet isolation when sitting on the Crooked Butt Bench overlooking the big horseshoe bend in the river at the far back corner of our property. And if the river is low during your visit, feel free to wade across to the other side – Wild Yough owns the entire peninsula of land on the other side of the river and this is also bordered by State land.The river banks are steep on the property, but the fishing for small mouth bass is exceptional. There is a small turn around on the path just beyond Crooked Butt Bench where you can take out your canoe, kayak, or inner tubes after floating the 2+ miles from the Oakland bridge. Just be prepared to walk your water craft back up to the house or Glamping site as there is no motorized access to the river.If you like to lay on the rocks in the sun or take the kids for some wading in the river, the best place is the farthest to walk to. Take the trail to “High Bluff”, then cross the Snyder property line (Permission for trail access only – do not leave trail!), then descend down and cross the bridge across Herrington Manor Creek (a stocked trout stream!). Wild Yough property is to your right along the river and there is a great place for lying in the sun, doing some fishing, or just wading into the cool waters of the Yough on a hot summer day.Learn more about this land:The idea is simple- our glamping site will offer a true camping experience without all the hassles and fuss. With 350 acres of private ground, adjacent to thousands of acres of state park and forest, Wild Yough offers plenty of space to spread out, stretch your legs, watch the deer, and howl with the coyotes. You won’t be packed into a row of RV’s or tents where you can hear your neighbor snoring. You won’t have to set up camp in the rain. And you’ll never have to sleep on the ground!
