The roadfront side of our property offers level terrain for pull-behind trailers, while vehicles (preferably 4WD) and tent campers can travel all the way back to the creek. Feeling froggy? Ford the stream and camp in the large field on the other side. Be sure to mind the animals and fields, as this is a working farm.
One mile down the road from the farm is the Virginia Creeper Trail, renowned for biking, but as a multi-use trail, you can also enjoy walking, running, horseback riding, fishing, cross country skiing, and geocaching.
South Holston Lake is only minutes away by vehicle, with two public access boating ramps 10 to 20 minutes away.
Access to the Appalachian Trail is only 20 minutes away in Damascus.
We became caretakers of this lovely property in June of 2021, moving from our existing farm, 45 minutes away. When we got it, it was a blank slate of a hayfield, and we have spent the summer laying infrastructure so that we may grow our cut-flower, honey, and vegetable business.

Want to see 5 star panoramic views of the Appalachian Mountains? This ultra-safe, ultra-private property is located only 10 minutes off interstate 77. There is only one farm past ours so road traffic is very minimal. Plenty of room to do what you and your pets want to do while exploring our 60 acres. The sun rises up behind the view and lets you see just a little further. It is nothing short of amazing. The sunrises are always different and some are the most beautiful you have ever seen. The mornings sunrise and the stars out here on a clear night are two of the best things this mountain has to offer. It will not disappoint. We can accommodate up to a 35ft RV. The best part is no long walks, you can park at the campsites and camp on flat ground. Each campsite features chairs, a bench, a swing and a camp cooktop that is fueled by your campfire. Nothing is needed to use the cook tops other than a campfire. The local area has lots to do. Several National Parks, rivers and trails. View stars as only those miles away from any light can experience. The crickets and whippoorwills will sing you to sleep. Google link, trail map, and campsite location map will be emailed the day before arrival.

Plans
We are building an educational homestead with farm stays here in rural SW Virginia to include dining experiences and food preservation classes. Our 35 acre farm is located on a mountainside with
beautiful
views of the Clinch Mountain. Our location is rural and peaceful with abundant wildlife. Deer, Racoons, Opossums, Bobcats, Bear, Fox, Groundhogs, and Turkey have been spotted on the property. We are a great spot for bird watching as well!
Camp Grassland:
Two of our prepped campsites
are on a flattened area of the hillside field with access to a fire pit, log bench, and porta-potty. This location is in direct sun with beautiful views and easy access from the road. Parking at the top of the field is recommended unless you have a 4WD vehicle.
Cabin Breazy:
Situated at one of the highest points on the property, Cabin Breazy is our cozy, off-grid, dry A-frame cabin surrounded by mountain views.
Farmhouse Holler:
2nd Campsite is located next to our old farmhouse on a lower section of the property. Its near the natural spring and is shaded. There are no convenient bathroom facilities at this location so it is recommended to bring your own. Reaching the porta-potty would require an extensive uphill hike or driving around to the other entrance. To reach this campsite, the driveway could be considered
rough terrain so drive slowly. Lowered vehicles or those with little ground clearance are not recommended.

If you are looking for birds-eye view of the area, visit the Mendota Fire Tower only 3.2
mile away. You can see it from the farm and see the farm from it. It's about
a 15 minute hike from the road. You can choose the mildly challenging way up or take the old roadway for a smoother walk.
Clinch River is only 20 minutes away. Cool off in the river or enjoy kayaking and tubing opportunities from Clinch River Adventures.

The farm is set on an 8 acre farm in a tranquil valley 10 minutes north of charming Lansing, NC and 1 mile south of the Virginia border. The property is set back from the main road, providing privacy and tranquility. Since this is a working farm, the owner and farm helpers may be present tending the sheep, renovating one of the old outbuildings, tending the flower farm, or just mowing the lawn. There is a designated RV spot with gravel pad and hookups to septic, electricity, and water in front of the barn. The description really can't do this place justice; you just have to enjoy it for yourself. The view obviously is unbelievable and is the star of the show. But Cabin Breezy is wonderful on it's own. You can tell Jessica put so much love and attention to detail in every inch of the mini but mighty A frame. We also weren't expecting to have an actual bathroom and shower to use (not just port-a-potties). So that was a major perk. My fiancé, our dog, and I came up for a little 2 night getaway for my birthday. Work has been WAY more stressful than usual lately for both of us. Staying on this land was cathartic in so many ways and we return home feeling completely renewed. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with the rest of us! Weekend Trip to Stormbrew Farm
The site was easy to get to, yet quiet and private, down the hill from the rest of the farm. We sat on the platform and watched the sun set, then fireflies, and then a clear starry sky. Horses peeked over the fence in the morning. And with all this, a morning run to get some coffee took just 15 minutes. We'll happily come back.

What a lovely quiet spot for a first Geodome experience with my wife. We were taking a long weekend trip to celebrate the anniversary of our First Date (40 years ago on the exact date of LiveAid, so good thing it wasn't a wasted date😁). This was a great Geodome with everything you could want and all of it was like the pictures.
What was nice was not being in a Tourist Trap City, just a quiet, peaceful place to relax. There were things to do for a change of pace right at the sites. The last 3 miles getting there is a very curvy narrow road, which I only got to have fun on once; I scared my wife. We definitely would go back to relax.

Had a wonderful stay over 4th of July weekend at Rugby Creek, just a stone's throw from Grayson Highlands. Lodged in the "Neighbor" trailer at the top of the hill, cozy and private with a lovely overlook of the property. Owners are kind and accommodating; I highly recommend scheduling a tour of the property to meet all the animals and learn their stories, including the famous Fabio and Sadie, the sweetest mini donkey ever. All of the residents are clearly very happy and well cared for, and I basically had a private petting zoo all weekend. Would love to go back!

We had our dogs with us so we camped in our tent instead of using the provided camper (no pets allowed in the camper) and there was plenty of room to setup the tent and enjoy the amenities.
