Healing Haven Campground @ Lone Wolf Ranch is located in the Okanogan Highlands just 4 miles south of the Canadian border off of Hwy 97 and just outside the historical town of Oroville, Washington. The orchards and green pastures of the valley floor are in contrast to the rigged cliffs and dramatic glacial features that surround our 20 acres located on an isolated and peaceful high mountain plateau. Just 1.5 miles away is the wonderful Lake Wannacut Public Access Area where you can swim, enjoy the day on your boat, or just lazily fish from the shore. There are biking and horseback trails such as the Similkameen Trail, the Whistler Canyon Trail, and a vast amount of ATV trails. Museums, local wineries, and an 18 hole golf course provide great day trips and there are a myriad of scenic drives awaiting your exploration. On the property itself you can bike, hike, get a lesson in gold panning at our very own gold mine, or even go on a dogsled ride. Enquire as to availability of tours and experiences at time of booking. The area is rich with quartz and many other minerals and crystals reported to be both a spiritual and a health benefit and the seclusion and quiet will leave you feeling rejuvenated after your stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you to Healing Haven Campground, hope you will excuse any renovations and/or construction of our newly established home, kennel, and campground here in the wild and wonderful Okanogan region, and we also hope that you will have time to book a tour of the kennel, home to an authentic Alaskan Iditarod Sled Dog Team known as the Polar Pirate Pups. Several dispersed campsites are available immediately, with a small cabin to be used as a common area, a Tiny Lodge, and what we call The Tiniest Home coming in the following weeks. See you soon!

This property is a great camp for enjoying everything that Eastern Washington outdoors has to offer. The Columbia river is in the valley below which provides fishing and watersports. The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of State and federal land which are free to explore. Winter tends to bring significant snowfall which makes this a great destination for winter sports as well. The property sits on top of a mountain plateau known as Harmony Heights. The site is about a 20 minute drive to Brewster or Pateros and about 40 minutes to Lake Chelan.  This is an fairly large site and will accommodate two RV's as well as plenty of area for tent camping. There is plenty of good spots to play with dogs without any conflicts. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Bring a field guide you will be happy you did.

This property has two locations, the south .5 acre lot in the unincorporated area of East Wenatchee above the Coyote Dune beach area on the Columbia River. This location includes two sites, a dry camp area and a furnished bungalow. Both are on the same land and overlook the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers. To the west you will view the Enchantment Wilderness rising above Leavenworth, Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort to the south, and the Washington Scablands are to the east. The other location is a 24 farm with about 3,500' of frontage on the Entiat River. The land's history has included use as pasture, orchards, and flowers. It's currently identified as a silvo pasture farm growing native fir trees harvested in 60+ years as telephone poles. During this time, we pasture the land between the trees with livestock grazing. The current owners purchased the farm fall of 2023 from a family estate that owned it since the 1970s. It is considered a legacy project as work progresses to Firewise the land, which is the removal of dead trees and undergrowth fuel. This best protects old-growth trees on the farm. These big old trees also provide critical cooling and shade to the many salmon that work their way up the Entiat River to spawn. There are times during the year when salmon can be spotted swimming, resting, spawning, or dying along the river. During the 2025 grazing season, pasture 1 with 5 acres along the river fed 8 Katahdin Sheep. Spring 2026, bison, cattle, and goats will be moving into pasture #2 with 7 acres that climbs the mountain along the west border. Eagles, Osprey, Red Tail Hawks, Owls, Blue Jays, Chickadees, Beaver, Otter, Martin, American Dippers, Blue Herons, waterfowl, bats, mushrooms, and a variety of other interesting birds and bugs abound. I’ll guests must be self contained as the farm has freshwater and a shop restroom, but does not provide hook-ups or restrooms in camp areas. River camps serves as a great base for regional adventures or an afternoon BDR repair and rest break. There will also be ramblers visiting our aluminum fabrication shop where custom surf/SUP racks, hippie hot tub stands, and other DIY kits are designed and built.
