Deer Haven Family Farm

Conveniently located just 2.2 miles from I-5 is 10 acres of beautiful farm land with Beaver creek running through it. There are trees, open playing fields and volleyball net, play yard with trampoline and rope swings, pond with adjacent deck and fire pit, a footbridge over the creek to access trails and tent sites. We offer full hook-ups (water, sewer, 30 amp electricity) for 7 RV spots also great for tents. Also Site 8 is for a tent or RV without hook-ups. Site 9 is for tents only. Creekside Forest Bike Trails and RV

Just 1.5 hours from Seattle, Portland, Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, & Olympic National Park, just 1 minute from Rainbow Falls State Park and 10 minutes from Willapa Biking Trail Head! We are located on top of Bunker Hill nestled between the Dunn creek and Chehalis river. Our property is 54 acres of mixed biomes including old forests, open meadows, and creek side trails. We are located right off Chandler Road, off of Highway 6. You turn right onto Labri road and you're on the property after going through a gate. Through the second gate, the dispersed camping site offers various sites for camping attached to a main trail that parallels the Dunn creek down to the Chehalis river. They are conveniently accessible off the logging roads which cross with Labri road after you've passed through the second gate. If you take the logging road to the left you will come up to a tree line where you can park and either take the trail to the left or right where you will find ample places to camp. You may camp along the trail or closer to the creek. There are four RV spots with full onsite hook-up. Two of the RV sites are paved and lit with ground lights and are prioritized for heavier rigs. The other two sites are on grass. We do not allow dumping of grey water or sewage at our property but there is a dump station just 1 minute away at Rainbow Falls State Park. We have two sites with no hookup as well but they don't currently have signs. The site is located on a hill so you get very nice view of sunsets and sunrises. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby fruit trees bring in many birds. The cranberry getaway is a small 3 acre cranberry field. There is a tiny house located on the grass area which houses 2 people, the grassed area is available for tent space for 3 other people. Inside the tiny house, there is a queen size bed, small kitchen sink, 2-pan stove top, shower, pull-out composable toilet, and small bathroom sink. It's equipped with basic essentials including a few pots and pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, towels, blankets, a microwave, a toaster, coffee maker, and coffee. We have 2 bikes available during your stay. The beach is a short 10-minute bike ride or 3-minute car ride. Nearby there are several activities available including boating, fishing and surfing. There are several small local shops and restaurants nearby.

We also have a gas and charcoal grill available for use at our brewery. Bathroom is available during business hours. If booking during non-business hours for the brewery, you may pick up items to-go by appointment. Brewery hours are Friday from 4pm-8pm, Saturday from 12pm-8pm and Sunday from 12pm-6pm. There are many great outdoor activities nearby including the Willapa Hills Trail, which runs 56 miles from the city of South Bend along the Willapa Bay to the city of Chehalis. Rainbow Falls State Park is 6 miles from our property and has wonderful access to the Chehalis River and great hiking trails in a beautiful old growth forest.+ This is a Leave No Trace location. + Please pack out all trash and human waste.+ Masks or facial coverings are REQUIRED for everyone while inside the brewery tasting room and restroom regardless of vaccination status. This 40 Acre parcel has been in my family since the 1870's when my Great^4 grandparents homesteaded it. For the first 50 years or so, It was used as a hay field and cattle pasture, but it has been managed as a tree farm ever since and we are still doing periodic selective harvests. It was handed down through the paternal family to my Great Uncle, who passed away in 2013 and deeded it to my 2nd cousin in the will. My Dad and I bought it from my cousin, who lives in Arizona, together. Then my Wife and I bought my Dad out with our share of the profits from our first commercial thinning.Although I plan to do some minor harvesting in the future, I no longer intend to do any clearcutting. Selective harvests only. I hope that campers will make ample use of windfalls and other debris to keep the fire risk low. I also use the property as a release site for wildlife caught as part of my urban nuisance wildlife business.
