Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Located on Spring Creek Road in Ronald, WA, it is a three minute drive to Lake Cle Elum. It is an hour and a half drive East of Seattle, and a ten minute drive to Roslyn. There is unlimited recreation in the area, including many hiking and riding trails near by. There is plenty of space on the property to bring your boat or ATVs (or rent from The Last Resort)! The power is 110v. We also have high speed WIFI making it easy to work from the campsite. Please note that we do not have water or sewer hookups. There are two picnic tables and a fire pit in a large open area. There is a creek running through the property and string lights leading to it. Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving. Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors. Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds. Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you. You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky. No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. Welcome to one of the most magical places in Kittitas County. Here you will be the ONLY campers on this 1 acre site! The spot has a crystal clear 80/gpm well and power for you to use. There is plenty of room for extra tents or parking. The driveway can be challenging if you are new to trailering. There is a turn around for backing up but it is not a pull though. See photos ;) Here you will feel a world away but a 15 minute drive down the mountain and you are in downtown Cle Elum. The property is minutes away from the Yakima River, Hwy 10, I-90 and the Teanaway Forest. Fly fishing, rafting, hiking are all nearby. When the sun goes down get your chair ready. Sunsets are breathtaking and with little light pollution, the star gazing is incredible. This original 24 acre parcel and surrounding area was destroyed by the Taylor Bridge fire in August of 2012. The fire destroyed 61 homes and 36 square miles. Currently, NO FIRES of any kind, as there is a county wide burn ban in place. Well socialized dogs are ALWAYS welcome. First and foremost this land is gorgeous. There was a wonderful view and the area was very well cared for. The directions were very easy to follow and took me straight to the site (Apple Maps). I had a bit of hiccup with a flat tire and Jackie could not have been more helpful. She assisted me in this issue and that was the biggest act of kindness. I would’ve had to pay a lot for a tow and this was avoided by her help! It is nice to know that you’re booking with someone who genuinely cares for their property and for the people camping. Thank you again Jackie for your kindness, sharing your property and just being overall amazing. I cannot recommend this site enough!! :)

Beautiful, quiet spot. A perfect overnight for me on my way to Seattle. Having access to a fridge, shower, and bathroom really elevated the experience. The shelter over the tent was a treat, too, and kept my tent totally dry from a surprise summer storm. The dogs were so sweet! Would stay again.

Wow. Just wow. This treehouse exceeded all our expectations! What a wonderful night we had celebrating my husband’s birthday. We BBQ’d on the deck, explored the grounds with our golden retriever and slept in the trees and under the stars. The outdoor shower was wonderful and the outdoor toilet was 100/10! We even had a resident tree frog visit the deck as well. We will definitely be back!

5 nights at B&B Treehouse Ranch

Three of us (Grandmother, mom, grandson) enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay at Scott's Private Treehouse With Amazing View. The beds were very comfortable, the tiny kitchen area had just what we needed to make our own modest meals, and the convenience of a plumbed toilet and shower was awesome! This was luxurious compared to the tent camping we usually do. We were there in August and lucked out on comfortable weather in the mid-70s with night-time breezes wafting through the cabin at night. AC was available if needed, though. I haven't slept so well in years! The sunset view of Mt. Hood was lovely, and the stars at night inspiring. A great base of operations for Columbia River explorations.

1 night at B&B Treehouse Ranch

We absolutely loved our stay in this adorable, well-appointed treehouse. Temps were around 100 degrees at check in time so we killed a few hours in Goldendale to enjoy some air conditioning. We were delighted to find that the cute treehouse had a window air conditioner! In addition to being cute and cozy, the treehouse has the best toilet ever, lol. (We couldn’t figure out how to get hot water for the shower, but we like the idea of an outdoor shower and really want to return!) Thanks for sharing this gem of a treehouse. 10/10!

Weekend Trip to Masabaje Camp

Loved the dogs! The place was cute and peaceful. Not a bad drive to the Gorge and we slept well. Hip camp is just that and this is a hip camp. Thank you for the peace.
