There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us. If you are looking for a quiet camp spot away from noise do not camp here on the weekends during wedding season. I enjoyed our spot and there were maybe a couple more spots that are quieter during an event. I liked everything by else about the campgrounds!

Weekend Trip to 1895 Farmhouse Charm

I really enjoyed my stay here. The property is beautiful and waking up to the sunrise over the hills was such a treat. The site looks out over a field, and mine had some shade plus a little pond nearby that made it feel extra peaceful. There was plenty of parking, which made things super easy. The property also had cornhole set up and a huge open yard that was perfect for tossing a frisbee or just hanging out. There’s an RV on the property for anyone who doesn’t want to tent camp, which is a nice option. My host, Hope, was wonderful, she even took the time to walk me around and show me the different sites. The location is quiet, not on a busy road, so it’s easy to relax and just enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely go back.

After a recon mission to Teanaway and Taneum, I stumbled upon Brynn’s property and knew this was the perfect place for my family’s very first camping trip. The sites are private and extremely easy to access. It’s peaceful, fun, and truly the perfect place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some time outdoors. Our kiddo was able to ride his bike, run around, go on the paddle boat, throw rocks in the river, and even got to meet Fudge, Tootsie, Salt & Pepper (Brynn’s goats and lambs)! We only live 15 minutes away and felt like we were able to really “get away from it all.” The location is perfect for a quick weekend away or an extended stay if you’re traveling. I can’t say enough about Brynn - she’s accommodating, helpful, engaged, and checks on you to make sure everything is going well. We are grateful to cross paths and will 100% be returning very soon! 1000/10 stars!

When she could not find one she offered me the comfiest bed that was absolutely the best thing I could ask for after biking here from Seattle. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing and quiet area to spend some time. My kids loved the pond and the paddle boat. Easy to relax and enjoy the day here. The river is beautiful but was high and fast (in June). We would like to go back later in the season to see it when the river is lower. Be prepared for mosquitoes during the evening and early mornings.
