Welcome to Two Frog Bog, a 20-acre forested haven featuring 5 acres of wetland. Our accommodations include a 24-foot yurt (currently under repair, see below) with a private, semi-attached bathhouse, and a 10 x 20-foot tent cabin with outdoor kitchen and private outhouse with composting toilet. You’ll enjoy the outdoor shower that is available for all guests. The communal fire pit is a great place to roast s’mores and maybe meet new friends. But wait, there’s more: a two-tent campground where we provide the tents, a shared, covered and fully equipped outdoor kitchen, a shared composting outhouse (cleaned at least once a day). Campground has access to shower and fire pit as well.

NEWS Our property was hit hard in the Bomb Cyclone of Nov '24. Sadly, we lost the Funk House. The Paisley Paradise yurt was severely damaged and is under repair. The Dragonfly Den remained unharmed and has been upgraded with the queen bed from the Funk House. Other areas need rebuilding. This wilderness campsite is located down a 2-mile gravel logging road which is steep and bumpy in a few places! Four-wheel drive is recommended in the wettest part of the winter, and please drive carefully any time of the year in whatever vehicle you bring.
As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other campsites (there is currently only one).
This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay.
The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming.
This land is a nature preserve with lots of wildlife. You're welcome to bring your pet, but keep small animals close to you as there are coyotes and predatory birds in abundance. Black bears and mountain lions also live in the hills, so please always be cautious while hiking and exploring.
If you use AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind.
Most important of all, relax and enjoy your stay in this incredibly peaceful and secluded valley.

Had the best glamping trip in Pe Ell with my family—total private preserve with our own swimming hole and no crowds, just us and nature. Our dog loved roaming off-leash the whole weekend. It was super relaxing and honestly an ideal escape from the Labor Day chaos. Huge bonus: Marc (the host) was really responsive, answering questions fast and making sure we felt welcome the whole time. Can’t wait to go back!

I loved the pure tranquility of this place. Really private BUT with all the amenities you would find within a house like fridge, fan, microwave, and more. There is a trail thats about 15 mins or from the tent that leads to a gem of river swimming area that was BEAUTIFUL. The shower and bathroom are right behind the outside of the tent and were nice too.
Will def be back when I have the chance.

This was a wonderful place to stay and stargaze! You have the best of both worlds -camping and facilities. Dogs can be off leash as there’s a huge huge meadow for them to play in.
No one else was around and it was beautiful.

Riverbend Preserve is absolutely magical. The meadow was such a peaceful, beautiful location to camp at. We got to witness the fog rolling in late evening and early morning, elk grazing, hawks hunting...it filled our hearts with joy to see wildlife just being wild and being able to just BE. There are paths to explore, a beautiful beach on the river, and we had everything we needed at the tent for a stress-free getaway. There's such diverse vegetation from one corner of the preserve to the other and we can't wait to return to see the changes as the preserve continues to flourish.

I loved my stay at Two Frog Bog! It was absolutely magical and serene and exactly what I needed for self connection. Really cozy spot and you’re well taken care of with anything you should need. I will absolutely be coming back when in Washington again and will be recommending it highly. Next time I’ll get to enjoy the soak tubs and maybe seen what else is new after some reconstruction from a recent storm. Thank you! Thank you!

Elona was such a gracious host! The Dragonfly Den was exactly what my friend and I were looking for in a cozy reading retreat. The Den was intimate and wonderful. The warming blankets were ultra comfy and luxurious. The weather cooperated and we even got to have a campfire in the evening. Jim built a wonderful campfire for us and was kind enough to share some of his awesome stories. Would come back again!!!
